Have you ever saw (it's usually just one and not a pair) a shoe just sitting in the road or on the sidewalk? I saw someone throw a shoe out of a car the other day. Why are they thrown/left in the street. I can't image that many people are hit by cars and the shoes are just left there. It's an odd phenomenon. Any clues? Have you ever thrown your shoe in the street?

I recently lost my job. I can't get into school. I am twenty-one and I have been working since I was fourteen with no help from my parents. I have worked as a maid, in a restaurant, and all sorts of other dead-end jobs that barely pay the rent. It seems like the capitalist system is failing when it comes to this huge gap between the rich and the poor, the have's and the have-not's. I always thought that I would somehow change the world, volunteer, help people in need, etc., but those are just nonrealistic goals at this point. Am I totally lost?

Since life started with a single celled organism, and I think the first beings were asexual ameobas, when does the evolution theory say that the male an female organ began to split? And also, since evolution says that single parts form over many mutations and many years, wouldnt life die out while the male/female organs were being developed, but not all parts were defined and working yet?

I've heard alot of religious intolerance recently from atheists and humanists. Some of it involved wiping religion from the Earth. How could this be (1) legal in the US, (2) in concert with unalienable human rights, (3) and even possible considering religious people are a huge majority (resistance) and enforcing it would be impossible (thought crime)?
