I cant remember off hand the name and number of the verses, but here's a few:
The Joy of the Lord is my strength.
The sun shall rise with healing in it's wings.
This is the day that the Lord has made, I will be glad and rejoice in it.
These are verses that I will meditate on when I feel low. I also found that when I praise him and sing to Him even if I don't feel like it , He will lift me up.

I have been suffering from post partum depression for the past one year when I gave birth to a baby boy. I couldn't stop thinking about how my husband loves him more than me and how things might be better if he wasn't born at all. Thus, I stayed away from him because I knew that I might do something I will regret for the rest of my life.
Almost instantly I went to a therapist and convince them that I need help. Among other things, I've tried herbal supplements and other book to treat depression but nothing works like the Depression Free Method. So now I'm proud to say I'm one of the happiest mother in the world. My husband loves us both very much and I thank the Lord for the blessing he gave us.

You don't need Scripture. The power to fix it is within YOU.
You need to find a way to turn off the negative way you are thinking. When you are depressed, did you ever notice how your thoughts run in a continual negative loop: "You're worthless, your life sucks, you will never be any more than you are right now?"
Find a way to SHUT THOSE THOUGHTS OFF! Think about other things. Get busy. Go for a walk. Read a book. Volunteer somewhere. Interrupt those ugly thoughts with "That's not true. This is good, or THAT is good or I am VERY good at ....."
It may take you awhile, but you will eventually be able to recognize when the Ugly Chatterbox turns itself on, and YOU will be able to turn it right back off!

The Bible says in Ezekiel 18:17 that the children do not have to die for the sins of the father, but in Exodus 20:5, it says the curse which is the result of that sin shall be passed on to the third and fourth generation.
Fear can be inherited. Allergies can be inherited and so can depression. Many of the things that we deal with can either develop in our lifetime or we can inherit them from our family tree.
Manic depression is an inherited mental disease caused by a continual underproduction of serotonin as a result of a defect in the 27th lower right hand side of the X chromosome. It is a recessive gene passed through the mother and can only be defeated by the Lord reordering the genetics to make it work properly again. Because of generations of sin, the devil mixed up the amino acid base that changed the genetics so God can change it back the way it was. If Satan can mess up something, God can fix it.
You've got to ask and ask and ask until God does something about it. Just like a little child wanting candy would continue to ask until they receive it.
Prozac is a serotonin enhancer, but it doesn't increase the secretion of serotonin. It just keeps it out of the end of the dendrite in the nerve synapse longer, which balances the imbalance. Drugs mask the real issue. However, don't get off the drugs because often we need to be detoxed gradually from these drugs.
God created us perfect in Adam. In sin, we became imperfect. God created us with an immune system and a body that was designed to take care of itself.
FIRST - Don't be involved in anything occult, if you are denounce it.
Mark 7:20-21
and he said, That which comes out of the man, that defiles the man. For from within out of the heart of men proceed evil thoughts..." So, when have you committed a sin and when haven't you? This is a reality that may set you free. Before you can defeat sin, you need to understand what is occurring within you.
Job 1:5 ......for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts.
Whatever is not of faith is sin Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him.
Bitterness and unforgiveness are two great reasons for disease.
Self-hatred, abuse, rejection - discern the former things in your life. Fear, anxiety and stress are killing people.
Remove the sin that has been recognized, repented for, and renounced. Renounce all of the sins of your fathers. Take responsibility for participating with or serving this sin of _____in your life.
The information I have given to you came from "A More Excellent Way" written by Henry W. Wright. His book is full of Scripture for healing and has numerous testimonies of people who have been healed by God.

Because these things are all a part of living in this sin ridden world. Every disease needs its meds. And scripture is the meds for spiritual needs.
First you need to ask Jesus to come into your life and then seek pastoral counselling. Yahoo answers is not the answer for your problems. Be blessed.

Some people find help in the bible. Go ahead and try. It's not my way, but I don't like to hear of people suffering needlessly. Seek professional help, also.

I do know what you are talking about.
Do you ever wonder how much you are valued as a person? Many of us may struggle at times to realize our self-worth, often due to a dip in our self-esteem. So where does one find their self-worth? Today’s world might define self-worth as a net of your financial assets and liabilities, or in terms of how many people you know, or how highly you think of yourself. Scientists say that the elements that make up our body are worth about $24. As Christians however, these evaluations are meaningless in trying to find our self-worth. To begin, let’s look at how I like to recognize self-worth in less materialistic terms.
I find my self-worth is positively influenced in many ways:
Being a blessing to others
Having a supportive family and friends
Having good judgement
Continually learning and improving skills, knowledge, relationships and personality traits
Integrity
Respect
Achievements
Knowing that Jesus Christ died for our sins
The opposites of these can negatively affect one’s self-worth evaluation:
Loneliness
Depression
Failure
Weak faith
These variables can be related to God’s Word by three sources of self-worth: Love, Faith & Hope, Wisdom, and Zeal. Let’s explore some scriptures to shed some more light on this topic.
Love, Faith & Hope
In 1 Corinthians 13:1-12, Paul spends the entire chapter describing Love as the greatest quality one can possess. Love includes supporting our brethren, family, friends, and even strangers, selflessly. In addition to this, we see that Paul includes Faith & Hope at the end of the chapter (verse 13). We know that Faith & Hope are the foundations of our day-to-day Christian lives, and without them, it is impossible to please Him. Peter also states that our Faith is worth more than precious gold (1 Peter 1:7).
Wisdom
Wisdom is our next source of worth. The Bible beautifully explains the importance and value of Wisdom in our lives. Proverbs 4:7 tells us to seek Wisdom first, “Getting wisdom is the most important thing you can do! And whatever else you do, get good judgment” (New Living Translation).
Moreover, in Proverbs 20:15 and Job 28:18, Wisdom’s true value is portrayed. Wisdom includes the previous example of having good judgment, which is also related to key qualities of leadership and integrity.
Zeal
Philippians 3 provides excellent motivation for our third source of worth, Zeal. This chapter demonstrates the tireless diligence needed to become more and more like Christ, by getting to know Him better. Verses 7-11 summarize the importance of becoming one with Christ, and achieving our ultimate goal, salvation. Paul prays in Colossians 1:9-10:
...We ask God to give you a complete understanding of what he wants to do in your lives, and we ask him to make you wise with spiritual wisdom. Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and you will continually do good, kind things for others. All the while, you will learn to know God better and better.
Just as we were created in God’s image, we must continually mold ourselves after Christ’s example as our way of life.
God values us more than we could value any amount of money; our worth is immeasurable! Deuteronomy 26:18, tells us that we are God’s “treasured possession.” Amazing! Our awesome God, who has unlimited power, majesty, and glory, finds us to be valuable. If ever we are looking for a price tag of how much we are worth, consider that “we were bought by the Blood of our Saviour,” Jesus Christ even before the world began!
Long ago, even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. His un-changing plan has always been to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. And this gave him great pleasure. So we praise God for the wonderful kindness he has poured out on us because we belong to his dearly loved Son. He is so rich in kindness that he purchased our freedom through the blood of his Son, and our sins are forgiven.” (Ephesians 1:4-7 NLT) i
