Why does catholic doctrine differenciate between these two. Please don't give me answers that are not in harmony with scripture. If you quote 1John 5:16 I believe the sin unto death is the unforgivable sin Jesus spoke of in Matthew 12:31. I don't wish to cause arguements just to make us think about what and why we believe in something.

Just read an answer that says 100,000 americans convert to islam every day. That's 36 million every year. USA has poplulation of about 300,000,000 so in approximately 9 years the whole of the USA will be muslim. Why do stupid people just make up stupid facts, and just make themselves look even more stupid? I won't name the person because every time I try and type their name I shake and laugh uncontrollably. So is the USA going to be 100% muslim in 9 years?

Due to current warnings, nowadays kids in the playground will smoke as a dare out of bravado, and then will face a lifetime of addiction.

It seems the only way to stop kids becoming addicted to something that will drain them of their money and more importantly their health, is to openly insult the smoker instead of giving a health warning.

For the PC brigade out there, if you check your english dictionary, "queer up" means "to make strange or odd", "to make unwell" (the most relevant meaning", "to spoil or jeopardise".

"Gay" means "having or showing a merry, lively mood", "bright or showy", "dissipated" (the intented meaning here).

"Fags" is British slang for "cigarettes".

My suggestions for new warnings are the following. Please pick your favourite or suggest an alternative:

From the subtle "It takes one to smoke one" and "Fags queer you up"
to the mildly insulting:

"Fags are gay"

& for the person of lower intellect

"Only idiots smoke"

"Giving in to peer pressure is stupid"

If you were really ill and work in an office environment where people sit close to you. if you were ill would you go to work and spread the germs around or would you stay at home and get better. bearing in mind that taking time off will look bad in the job role you are in!!!!

This is a dilema as a few of my work mates are in this situation and the germs just keep going round the office and no-one seems to get better!!

In the 1950s most people in the UK, with the exception of Catholics in Northern Ireland, were happy to think of themselves as British.

Now it seems that most people consider themselves to be English, Scottish, Welsh etc. Why doesn't anyone want to be British anymore?

I'm talking about Blacks in Britain, Europe, South America, USA, Canada, and Europe. Most of them all have the same problem: POVERTY AND RACISM.

I’m a gay guy I would say more of a Bottom… The problem with me being a bottom is that anal sex causes discomfort; I try to relax but no matter what it still hurts. I heard that Poppers tend to relax that area and makes insertion easier. Are there guys out there that have used this stuff? How does it affect you/how does it feel? How does it feel when the affects are wearing off?

This past weekend- a primarily social friend of mine and my husbands- sent us an email with a .pdf invitation to a wine tasting as a local wine bar. The invite was something that we would have been very interested in attending- had we not received the invite 3.5 hours before the event started. (We have small children and usually need to get a sitter with a couple of days notice.) This person does not have children or a spouse- and is the same age as us. (35-40) I sent him a note, via email- half in jest and half for practicalities sake- to say- "Although we appreciate the invite- we usually need more than -- ummm..3.5 hours notice to attend an event. Thanks anyway! Maybe next time..." and he wrote back- "Whatever. The honor is in the invite!!" Am I wrong to feel like he is rude?

Went to the video store on Friday Night and my daughter insisted I buy her a sticker from the little machine they have so she put her 50 cents in expecting to get a cute lil strawberry shortcake sticker and out popped and this is no lie a tatoo of Jesus on the cross surrounded by barb wire What the Hell is that? my daughter was completely baffled by this so I then had to make a story up about a mythological person called Jesus was traumatic for us both any ideas on what this is? I've been reading some comments about Zeus. I can't belive that people debate the existance of God along with Zeus. that's stupid

Last night, after my boyfriend had just left for a brief errand, I heard someone trying to get into one of the doors in the basement. There were a few banging noises & thumps, but I wasn't sure if I had actually heard them or not.

I knew my bf would be coming back in about 30 minutes & I also know that I am prone to "hearing noises" when I'm alone & getting myself all worked up for no reason. So I didn't call him & called a female friend instead.

When the thumps happened softly again, I knew at that point that someone was trying to get in. Then I heard the door knob rattle. I checked outside & didn't see my bf's truck (& we don't use those doors).

Luckily, my bf showed up right before I called the police.

The noise turned out to be my cat, who had snuck into the "breaker" closet earlier when I had to flip a breaker, & instead of meowing like any normal cat, he thumped himself against the door & attempted to operate the door knob using his paws! I told him to meow next time!!

I have just coveted my neighbour's as$. Now I'm worried because according to the bible, that's just plain wrong. Should I punish myself and if so, how? I was thinking of standing outside in the rain for an hour, or rubbing sandpaper across my nose.
