I have just coveted my neighbour's as$. Now I'm worried because according to the bible, that's just plain wrong. Should I punish myself and if so, how? I was thinking of standing outside in the rain for an hour, or rubbing sandpaper across my nose.

In my defense, it is a fine as$, bountiful of mane and bold of fetlock.

The sandpaper is a good start. Next step is to slap yourself around the face with a wet lettuce, then walk around with shoes full of tacks. After this, sit in a bath full of syrup(your choice of flavor) for a full hour. It might not stop you coveting your neighbor's as$, but it's giving me a laugh

Sandpaper across the nose sounds good. After you have the top epidermus sanded, coat nose with salt for good measure.

i realise this isnt a real qustion but punishing yourself wouldnt do you any good. the only person who can be accepted by God is Christ Jesus. so when you did wrong youve made yourself unexeptable. just like if you painted a picture and and it got ruined you would throw it away. being Gods creation he has every right to "throw us away" thats why Jesus is so important. when he made himself a sacrifice by dying he paved the way for our salvation. if we believe in him we will die to sin with him and rise again with him into his rightiousness and be acceptable to God.

john 3-16

for God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life

hope you actually read this eternaty depends on your decision.

Ok, you're still not repentful of your coveting. This makes it hard to give you advice. If you're not sorry for it I don't think you should trying to find forgiveness

Yes, and while your at it get rid of your Bible and dishonor your parents. Maybe the government will completely disappear and secular science will stand in the rain with you :D

Or one could choose to get over themselves ; |

Ask your neighbor, he may forgive you. Other than that, just lay down in the middle of the street.
