Let's say a powerful alien civilization faked the second coming of Jesus, revelations, etc. through the use of extremely advanced technology so that the Earth Christians would believe it. Maybe they did this for their amusement or to further a cause of theirs. How would you know if it was the real Jesus or not?

I am only 20 years old and I work in a small office with just a couple of other people. Awhile ago I thought about getting my boss a christmas present, but I totally forgot about it until I was driving to work on the day of the Christmas party. Of course when I got there she had already put my gift on my desk and I just felt horrible for not giving her anything. I was ready to cry but I didn't say anything b/c I thought if I acted oblivious it would seem that I just didn't know I was supposed to get her anything, not that I didn't want to. Is there any way I can make it up to her? It is already after the holiday now but I just still feel so horrible, I can't forgive myself!

I have invited about 20 people to NY Day party. I have invited a few neighbors and a few friends. There is one person who I am on the fence about... I really can't stand her because she is nuts but she thinks we get along, well we do get along. She leaves garbage in her yard that blows into mine. When I don't rake my leaves she calls and tells me she is afraid my leaves will blow in her yard. I had to get a fence because she was putting things on my property like firewood and her pets in a cage. I am afraid it will cause bad feelings if I do not invite her. What should I do?

The Food and Drug Administration recently released statements that they would not require companies selling cloned animals for food in supermarkets to label the food as such. Basically, in the upcoming MONTHS, cloned beef, pork and other animals will be sold in our grocery stores and we do not even have the right to know it. Do you think this is fair?

An honest question: If you believe that the Bible is the infallible word for word "Word of God", what part of it do you believe is infallible? The Old Testament has a lot of rules that I know for sure you don't follow and a lot of theological concepts that would be absolutely foreign to a modern evangelical Christian. I am sorry if I have offended, but I really would like to know your reasoning on this.

I dont mean a shy person who actually talks alot or reads alot and has a abroad vocabulary. i mean a shy person like me, age 27, whose language skills are so bad cause he never opens his mouth for years and also doesn't read books often or write essays. Just the act of listening to Podcasts, can that help in any way?

I'm from America and not good at English, not fluent because i never had a social life or any friends and never spoke. i spoke but usually it has been simple YES, NO, and minor little phrases.

If they have a strong accent and even after you ask them to repeat you still can't understand, what should you do? For example, if you are getting your nails done and the chinese people working there are trying to tell or ask you something and you don't know what they're saying, what should you do?
