An honest question: If you believe that the Bible is the infallible word for word "Word of God", what part of it do you believe is infallible? The Old Testament has a lot of rules that I know for sure you don't follow and a lot of theological concepts that would be absolutely foreign to a modern evangelical Christian. I am sorry if I have offended, but I really would like to know your reasoning on this.

To clarify - there are many theological concepts in the Old Testament which clearly contradict those in the New Testament - how do you deal with this?

Part II - Which O.T. laws apply to N.T. Christians?

I believe that the whole Bible is the infallible word of God. I also believe that when Jesus Christ came and died for our sins he made it possible for us to have salvation through Him and not the the Laws that were in place before Him. Jesus Christ's death brought freedom and grace to all those who believe in Him. I know that may be confusing but that is what I believe. You haven't offended me in anyway by asking your question so there is no need to apologize. I hope that you have a wonderful life and that God blesses you very much!

You will probably get several responses from Christians saying they think the bible is the infallible word of god but they will also not answer the question about the OT. They may throw in a bible verse for flavor.

All scientists are inspired by utilising axioms. All technology demands presupposition. No data is interpreted in a vacuum. there is not any such element as independent while human beings are in touch. Creationists prepare the comparable reasoning to secular technology. maximum secular scientists function on a naturalistic faith that prohibits any supernatural motives. by utilising definition, technology can not confirm that there is no longer something previous the organic universe. This faith places arbitrary, and unverifiable limits on what could be seen certainty - so as that a supernatural certainty would be rejected in want of a naturalistic lie. reported creationists will element out that the communicate won't be appropriate to the data (which, as you mean, could be interpreted greater effective than one way). yet fairly, the communicate is over conflicting presupposition. If we can't evaluate a controversy in the context of it truly is very own axioms, then we are able to by no skill have the skill to grant honest attention to opposing perspectives, in spite of the data.

In the New Testament we are told that the Old Law was "nailed to the cross" at Calvary. Christ died for HIS CHURCH. We live are able to become Christians, and have an opportunity to be in heaven as a result of HIS DEATH, burial, and resurrection. I find Nothing that EVER contradicts any other part of it therefore, I find it as HIS Infallible WORD.

Some of these rules were for priests only, others for the Jews, and some for the Christians. Study is needed to see which group applies. Also Jesus fulfilled the law. He should be the example.

Answer a shadows of things to come and admonition or warning.

We cannot obtain salvation by our own deeds or righteousness.
We need God's grace.

1Co 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

2Pe 2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

Good luck. It is easier to squeeze water from a stone than reasoning from a biblical literalist.
