I was applying for a job with BoFA and everything indicated I was going to get it, but yesterday they called me to tell me the backgroung check came back "not satisfactory" which was great surprise as I never failed one before. My husband is in the army and I have had tons of backgroung checks done on me before. What is the truth about this damn backgroung checks, can I get a copy? I live in TX.

Do you think she makes the gay and lesbian community look bad. She does think it is okay to bash Christians and Asians, but when it comes to the gay community no one must bash them. For example when Clay Aiken put his hand over Kelly Ripa's mouth and Kelly got mad Rosie was like she is a homophob. I mean if someone put their hands on your mouth whether gay, straight, bi or whatever it is disgusting (assuming you don't want them to). The gay and lesbian community should be ashamed of Rosie.

within their own states then does this not show religion is likely not the actual cause of men killing each other and that some other force like internal wickedness or desire for power of profit is the more likely culprit??

Wickedness, excessive power and excess profit can be conquered through adequate legislation but religion can not as history proves. Religion has in fact done way more good than harm throughout history.

It seems to me that creations serve the purpose of doing things that the creator cannot. People wouldn't need knives if they could cut things just as well with their fingernails. People wouldn't need soap if we could clean ourselves like cats. That's why we create those things. So what would an omnipotent God create us and the universe to do? Was he bored and created us for entertainment? Was he lonely and in need of company? Was he power hungry and needed something to control? Was he insecure and needed to prove his creative prowess to himself? He had to have a reason, right?
