Considering the fact that you have a wife, I'd be irritated at him for even suggesting that you two have sex because he obviouslly has no respect for your wife or the relationship you have with your wife.

Now if you and your wife are seperated or you have an open relationship and you wouldn't mind trying it... why not?

Personally though, the fact that he asked you to be his first KNOWING you're married (unless you've hinted you're not happy) he crossed a line he shouldn't have crossed. If you want to have sex with him, have sex with him, but you're going to ruin a 50year relationship for a fling... is that what you want? If so better to break it off now than break her heart later.

Your obviously curious about the whole sexual aspect and at least your honest enough to not turn into a macho bs'er for this your commendable
Ask yourself this
Do i want to risk losing my wife if she finds out?
Can i live with myself for telling lies and having to sneak around?
What if a whole new relationship builds from this and my friend becomes my mistress could i deal with this ?
What if i dont like and he wants more do i want to lose my mate ?

If you can dismiss these questions easily then go ahead but remember its not without complications

If his sexuality is the only one that has changed the answer is no. If you are completely heterosexual there is no reason for you to have to have a gay sexual experience unless you want it. I would never expect a straight friend of mine to have sex with me, even if it were to be my first time.
