Why did some of his angels including Satan rebel againts him why did Adam and Eve disobey him, why did he destroy the world once because he was dissappointed why is he planning to destroy it again.
If the only answer is because of free will, what is to prevent rebellion again in God's paradise afterall will there not still be free will.
If you keep wiping things that you created out and starting all over, are you not admitting that you did not do a good job the first time. No simplistic answer some different perspective please.

Because, clearly he was a christian.
And a devout one.
In fact, the Nazi party could not have existed had it not been for the church's support.
Want the proof?
Read here. I won't spoil it for you, suffice to say that the similarities between the Nazi party and christianity are numerous and frightening in their dogma.

They are such a small minority and one that has been persecuted for thousands of years and still are today. Yet a surprising amount of people still love to hate them. What's with all the anti-Semitic conspiracy theorists? Why do so many people blame irrelevant problems on the Jews? Why do some people go so far as to deny the Holocaust? I don't understand anti-Semitism at all. Maybe I'm just naive you tell me.

For starters, whether or not those of you reading this want to accept it, this IS FACT. No matter how much you don't like it, it is true.

The real Bible contains hundreds, maybe thousands of scriptures to it. The Bible that exists in our society today was composed of constantine and rulers of varying religions at the Council of Nicea. This counicil highly edited the Bible, to shape it into something they thought that their people would cling to; something that would help create an unquestionable society and story. The purpose of it's shaping was not to tell the word of God as accurately as possible. It's scriptures were specifically included to get people to believe 1 specific story, rather than the huge, questionable, and not-too-appealing real Bible. Wouldn't you rather like to follow the real word of God instead of the publicity stunt we have today? How can you still follow it?

....if God actually existed? This question isn't about religion of any sort. I just sometimes wonder...what if he really does exist? How many people would be terrified if he happened to come tomorrow? How many people would regret everything that was done in life?

Another point I want to make is that we know that demons exist right? Some people claim to be possesed with evil spirits...so if their are evil spirits there must be good spirits too, which would be angels...and if there are angels, there has to be a God also...it kind of makes sense...

Many faiths point to a personal experience of God.

If you believe that you experience a spiritual force in your life, can you explain how you concluded that it was God?

Why do you reject seeing it as a component of your own unconscious mental processes?

If you feel God's presence, does this presence give you messages or lead you to perform particular acts?

What happens when someone else experiences a similarly sincere revelation that is at odds with your own spiritual messages from God?

Why do so many people in the US look down on people still living at home? In other cultures, people save money this way and are way more attached to their extended families. People living at home here are the butt of everyone's jokes, get no respect, and are contstantly made to feel second class. I know a few nice immigrant families who were telling me that they didn't understand why everyone in America were in big empty houses paying mortgages, when they lived in close quarters and were massively ahead of the average joe money wise. Is this "cultural thing" about everyone needing their own place just a bonus for greedy realtors and mortgage companies?????

It seems that when a "well off person"uses their persuasion skills to get what they want they are called "smart" and "repected".(example: asks for money and receives 20,000 dollars towards the charity they want to support)
It also seems that when a "poor" person uses their same persuasion skills they are considered to be "using someone" or "trying to get something for nothing".(example: asks for a ride somewhere or for a little help with an important bill that needs to be paid)
Why is this do you think?

From the book of Teilhard de Chardin: "Christianity and Evolution"

Conclusion

Some years ago, in the course of a conversation with an old missionary - something of a visionary, but universally regarded as a saint - I heard him make the following surprising statement: "History shows that no religion has been able to maintain itself in the world for more than two thousand years. Once that time has run out, they all die. And it is coming up to two thousand years for Christianity..." By that he, as a prophet, meant that the end of the world was close at hand; but to me his words had a graver import.
Two thousand years, more or less, is indeed a long stage for man particularly if, as is happening today, there has just been added to it the critical point of a "change of age". So many attitudes and outlooks are modified after twenty centuries that, in the context of religion, we have to slough off the old skin. Our formulas have become narrow and inflexible; we find them irksome, and they have ceased to have an emotional impact on us. There must be a "moult" if we are to continue to live.
As a Christian, I am barred from believing that it is possible for Christianity to disappear in this period of transition that is upon us, as has happened to other religions. I believe Christianity to be immortal. But this immortality of our faith does not prevent it from being subject (even as it rises above them) to the general laws of periodicity which govern all life. I recognize, accordingly, that at the present moment Christianity (exactly like the mankind it embraces) is reaching the end of one of the natural cycles of its existence.
By dint of repeating and developing in the abstract the expression of our dogmas, we are well on the way to losing ourselves in the clouds where neither the turmoil nor the aspirations nor the living vigour of the earth can penetrate. Religiously, we are living, in relation to the world, in a two-fold intellectual and emotional isolation: an indication that the time for a renewal is close at hand. After what will soon be two thousand years, Christ must be born again, he must be reincarnated in a world that has become too different from that in which he lived. Christ cannot reappear tangibly among us; but he can reveal to our minds a new and triumphant aspect of his former countenance.
I believe that the Messiah whom we await, whom we all without any doubt await, is the universal Christ; that is to say, the Christ of evolution.

I've heard a lot about those Rosetta Stone things, but it's so expensive! I've looked at other books, and nothing looks good. I work full time and don't really have the time to take a local college class (they are rarely offered anyways) so what are my options for learning a new language?
