Well, first of all, race isn't determined by skin color -- that's an archaic notion.

If white skin is considered superior, why do so many white people spend so much time & money trying to darken it? And why have so many Miss Worlds and Miss Universes been dark-skinned?

Beauty is based on our personal and cultural preferences - there isn't an absolute standard. I suggest you watch "The Gods Must be Crazy" when Xi, the bushman. spots the lovely blonde woman that the other (white) men are chasing. His (Xi's) opinion? "She was the ugliest woman he had ever seen. She was as pale as something that had crawled out from under a rock. She was so big that a man would have to spend all his time hunting to feed her." Yet other men considered her lovely.

White supremacy is the belief and promotion of the belief that white people are superior to people of other racial backgrounds. Brainwashing. White are the majority. Those in power have the control through the media, print media, radio, film, financial institutions etc. Of course whites are going to show their race to be positive and more desirable than other races. I wouldn't say that white beauty is "superior" to other races, but I find white beauty more aesthetically pleasing. Especially because the white race has a lot of variation in looks, whereas other races don't have much variation.

clearly, the welsh are different than the Anglo Saxons, who are different from the Russians. even look different. hell in Europe, the Irish are still considered a different race by some.

if you want to suggest that the welsh are a very pretty group of people in general, I'd agree. I'd also agree if you want to toss in the Norse. but there are many jokes on the Anglo Saxons (Brits) not being attractive overall (i don't agree or disagree either way) so you can't generalize. American Anglos are so mixed up you can't use them as an example (just about every white person in American is at least also either french or Slavic or something, never mind that they might also be part native, African [by way of Italy at the very least] or what not)

There's no such thing as objective "beauty." What one person finds beautiful, another may find repugnant.
There's also no such thing as objective superiority. "Superior" is a judgement call, based on an individual's comparison of one thing to another. All judgements are subjective.
Finally, you can't lump all whites (nor any other race) together. Each is a huge group of individuals, and among that group there's a huge range of physical characteristics, and within that range of characteristics there's a huge range of what different people might find beautiful.

The only part of your question that isn't meaningless, is "are."

Sure. There's more to work with. There's 4 colors of hair, unlike in other races; lots of shades of skin, lots of different eye colors. There's more permutations, so more chance for beauty. There's the fine skinny British kitten, and that bouncing, giggling slavic jellied meat cooker. All kinds of variety to produce so much more beauty.
