Because Jesus was born there, he walked everywhere in his sandals; come on, how far did you expect him to go? That's why he sent his disciple to spread the Good News round the world.

Christianity was fortunate in that it "happened" at a time ,and in a region were major civilisations met, allowing for dispersal of the `word`. Egyptian, Greek and Roman influences can be found within Christian writings, and without its pedigree of powerful literate neighbours Christianity would have remained simply a local event, in the long and violent history of Judaic culture. Why does religion no longer "happen"? This question was posed by EVERY defunct religion since the dawn of time, ONLY the survivors can claim the "truth", until they inevitably disappear to be replaced by a new "truth", and so on through the ages.

To help concentrate our minds. God has a knack of focusing our attention on details that matter before drawing our eyes upwards, to heaven (his domain). Most of the Old Testament and New Testament were relevant to a wide range of cultures, covered a vast span of time, and the principles worked out there still hold good for today. Now, that's clever. And you are absolutely right about Jesus being sectioned if he appeared today. That might be a reason for God bringing about the Incarnation when he did. The perfect combination of politics and history had to combine for the appearance of Christ because his death and resurrection was to change both - forever. That's awesome.

good questions. The Bible only talks about one specific culture and region of the world in the Old Testament. It stretches in the New Testament because of the Roman Empire. Religion and Laws are something that every culture comes up with for order and morals, but God is beyond that. He can be seen in every culture. His Morals are written on our hearts. The Bible was preserved because it holds valuable stories about people who have lived, breathed and struggled with God since the beginning of written history. They are all examples for us.

The bible memories that are recorded grow to be surpassed down by utilising oral traditions... the magnitude isn't the interest for word account however the meaning and message at the back of the memories...What Jesus wanted to coach his disciples approximately. And believers believed that the author of the bible is guided by utilising the holy spirit and consequently the bible is God's inspired paintings. The compilation of the numerous books that made up the bible grow to be additionally by way of divine intervention. As such, we could consistently consistently study the "unique" bible with all books intact. and study the bible while our eyes, ear and heart open to "hear" to words of God. that's the full purpose of the bible....desire this uncomplicated rationalization enables.

If you get to realize that there are more than 360 counties around the World you may think different, about this, as long as you keep thinking that because you are free and in U.S, you need to know everything, and not beginning from what God desires are for you to know, and learn first, such question will have no answer. Each country has boundaries, and to make a long story short, Israel has never been a Country but a group of peoples, with no Country, so if the purposes of this society is to Give The Boundaries they deserved because apparently they are?, you need to define your own Boundaries, according to how much you know about your creator., and his purposes for you in life. Religion as its to day, can be separated by continents, oriental have Buddha, or Buddhism, Arabs are muslins, westerns Christianity, etc. find and define your own boundaries, within your own Country, and not by your own Countries policies that in U.S., is steal the condition that every materialistic society have pursue forever, without success, to this subjects the Bible say, "The ends of time are near". one more materialistic Society in decay, mainly because its peoples need to experience and find the true in their own. God has never guiving boundaries to Jew's or Isralities, but the promises that in the end of time the world will be theirs, and here is the catch "for better or for worsth", I think Hell will be left for the Jew's to in their own rebuild what ever they want, because God doesn't expect that much more from then, since they were unwilllig to folllow Christ, and then they more than willlingly deny him. and know they believed more inU.S., to fix their problems that what they believed in God, so did you believed in the Jew's more than what you can believed in your own self?????, Enough to guive or self yopur Country to then, and then your own self???,for what? pennies in the Dolllar???? God works in misterious way's (for his peoples also)!!!

It's quite simple. The Bible refers to God's Revelations to one part of humankind, for a specific period of time. It does not deny the possibility that Zoroastrianism, Hinduism and Buddhism are of divine origin as well. God sends His Messengers to all of humankind and gives His Message in conformity with the time and place in which they appear.

The Jews were the first to believe in one God. All cultures can have faith in this one God revealed to us. It was St. Paul who spread the Gospel ( Good News) to the Gentiles, and as the number grew, they were formed into one Large Christian ( Catholic) Church. The rest is as you find it. It has not finished yet.
