It means you have repented (turned from) of your sins and accepted Christs forgiveness/salvation, and you have asked him to live in you.

Christ doesn't ask you to find religion he asks you to open the door so he can come in. This is describing a relationship with Christ we all need to have a one on one relationship with Christ.

"Relationship not religion"

For me it means to be set free from my sins. I am a born again Christian and I thank God for the gift of salvation through the blood of his son Jesus Christ daily. I have strength, love and security knowing that I have a God who loves me and cares about what happens to me personally. I know that some people think that Christians are dumb or "live in a fantasy" world of make believe. But I just know that since I accepted Christ's blood sacrifice for the forgiveness of my sins I am a happier, healthier individual. Thanks for asking this question. God is good all the time and while I am far from perfect I am blessed to be forgiven and a member of his heavenly family.

To be a believer in the God of the Jews as described in the ancient Jewish scriptures (The Old Testament) and also that He has sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for the sins of mankind (yours included) and then resurrected from the dead after His crucifixion, as revealed by the writings of the New Testament. In short, to believe that the Bible is the Holy Spirit-inspired word of the true and living God, and that literal interpretation of the holy scriptures is the only way to properly understand life, godliness, and the way to receive eternal life.

Simply put, to be a Christian means to follow Christ and obey his commands to the best of one's imperfect ability.

It means to imitate his example - in words, deeds, thoughts and attitude. It means to treat the word of God as he did - which means don't cherry pick. The Bible is not a salad bar. That is why Christ said at John 17:17 that his Father's word is truth.

It means to accept Jesus as your personal Savior, repent of your sins, turn your life over to Jesus, and obey God's commandments and word in the bible. It means that when you accpet Jesus as your personal Savior, your body no longer belongs to you to do with what you once did. You must do what God instructs you to do from then on, because when you are born again, you have the holy Ghost living inside you.

1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

To be a Christian is to be Christ like, and walk in the footsteps of Jesus, for he paved the way and showed us how to act, talk, and live according to God's word. Praise the Lord.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

It means you beleive Jesus is God and only worship him as so. Christians like to throw the term "Christian" around like it means to do the right thing. A lot of Christians beleive if you're not Christian, you're not morale and good.

It means that you can listen to others disagree with you without feeling insulted. It means you will not delete someone's answer on this chat group when they disagree with you or even call you names. - It means you know how to play the game of "chat".
It means you believe in "freedom of expression". - It means you are not a dirty Muslim. - (Dear Sahib Punjabi , it was a joke, get over it, and get a life.)
