She exhibits an EXTREMELY severe case of penis envy, and honestly the gay and lesbian community does a good enough job of making themselves look bad as it is. She is just a prime example of how disgusting and unnatural that whole scene is anyway.

I ensue to love Rosie. I even have in no way heard her declare to be representing the gay community. I even have heard her supply her critiques, and because she is a lesbian, it incredibly is the opinion of a lesbian. She has in no way claimed to be a spokesperson for greater beneficial than Rosie. i think of she in all opportunities are high an extremely good place style for toddlers. Your question is style of like this: How do you experience approximately Rush Limbaugh/ representing human beings? or Richard Pryor/Arthur Ashe representing all African human beings? in simple terms by employing being in the universal public eye does not make somebody a representative of a sub team they ensue to belong to. (some could proclaim otherwise, yet then some declare distinctive issues.)

First off, Rosie has done A LOT of good for the GLBT community on the whole!
Secondly, SHE NEVER BASHED the Asian community, she did a terrible impersonation, but publicly apologized if she had hurt anyone's feelings!
Thirdly, Clay Akin has repeatedly said he is not gay, granted he comes off extremely gay, but each to their own. I don't like Clay Akin, but wish everyone would simply back off the poor kid.
Yes, she's a loudmouth and obnoxious at time, but she's got a lot to say! She's been harassed, put down, insulted, called names, publicly ridiculed..and yet she survives! She's a WONDERFUL mother, a devoted partner and does a lot of really amazing things for the GLBT community!
I wish everyone would back the heck off Rosie, give the woman the credit she's DUE and have a little respect.
I feel her frustration in being ridiculed even by her own community...SHAME on those who pick on her!

There are very few openly gay celebrities out there. The fact the Rosie is one of the few, say a lot. She may not be right in all she says, but at least she is a voice that is heard, rather than ignored. Just stop taking it so personal.

I'm not ashamed of Rosie, Rosie O'Donnell does not represent everyone in the gay/lesbian "community." If people judge us as a whole based on what Rosie O'Donnell does then shame on them. That's like me saying you should be a shame of "name here" behavior because he's heterosexual and represent all y'all as a group.

I think she's old-hat. She had her 15 minutes of being an activist and all, but she's a snivelling 8 year old lately. And yes, she invented homophobia where there was none. And yes, she then proceeded to make very racist comments. And yes, when called on being racist, she denied it instead of saying "y'know what? You're right. It wasn't funny and I apologize."
Then again, we don't need her anymore cause more and more celebrities are coming out. Old hat.

Loosen up Jake! Rosie is great! Now what does the gay and lesbian community think about you , Jake, that is my question. Are you threatened by Rosie? By large women? By lesbians? What?

She is an outspoken woman. Her offensive behaviour doesnt make the gay and lesbian community look bad. i mean if she was straight she would still cause offense.

She is extremely open minded and now has a media to say all that she thinks. I personally don't find offense to that but I can see that others might.
