Does anyone know specific prayers (Bible passages) for deliverence of a very troubled person...(a young man of 21) I know he has a good heart, but he is fighting many battles. He is staying with the last family member who is still willing to try and help him....I am also interested in intercessory prayer...thank you

this is a close family member , and my husband and I have spent more than 10,000 in less than two years, trying to pay off debts he either can't (or won't) be responsible for...provide him with a vehicle...have gotten him numerous jobs and we have sought help in many ways for him...I am not "expecting" God to just snap his fingers (although I know he can ) to deliver him....I am willing to do what is humanly possible, but at this point, I really need devine intervention....if you do not believe in this...fine...but your interjections are not what I am looking for...thank you to all who are answering in faith...

question # 13 is the reason I did not want to be specific....people will judge..either you have tried two hard or not hard enough, according to their perception of a situation they have not lived in...I still am looking for my original question...prayers of deliverence or interseccion...Thanks

Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Father,
I stand together with Lilliput and lift up this young man to you. You know who he is and what his needs are. Give him strength and courage to reach out to You for salvation through Jesus. Let those around him be the light that leads him straight into Jesus awaiting and loving arms. Take away his confusion and troubled heart and fill it with joy, peace and confort that can only come from You. Bless Lilliput for her devotion to You and to her friend in his time of need. I praise You and give You all the glory. In the precious name of Jesus, amen
God bless you Lilliput!

There are no particular prayers. Just prayer from the hear is best. God does not listen to the words from your mouth. He listens to the sincerity of your heart. One should simply pray and cry out ot God and ask for forgiveness, strength and courage to endure. Ask God into your heart. Very simple. And then simply surround oneself with those of like minds. Find a church family to pray for you, and read and study the bible. There is no special prayers that need to be said. God bless****

Does prayer work at all? Hundreds of millions prayed for your god to stop Hitler before he caused 30+ million to die during WWII and he did NOTHING. A simple little blood clot would have done the trick, say in 1934, but NOOOOOO. If this god of yours could turn a good woman into a pillar of salt for looking over her shoulder, why couldn't he answer the prayers to end evil. Either your god is heartless, powerless, both, or does not exist at all.

You should not rely on specific prayers. If your troubled friend is fighting battles, he does not need your unheeded prayers, he needs your help. Please, pray for him if you must, but as a true friend, you must help him. Help him settle in, help him get a good job or a girlfriend or anything that will make him happier in life. Praying for someone when they do not know about it cannot help them; you need to interact with him, guide him along the way. If you believe in God, then in the long run, He will help you both for your kindness towards him.

You don't need a special prayer for your self or this young man to pray. All you need to do is pray form your heat and also pray everything in Jesus's name. The Bible states "No man come unto the father but by me". It also states "Ask and you shall receive." It might be good to have him council with a pastor but you and he can pray on your own.

Prayer is good, but you should also stop abusing your relative by not allowing him to learn from the negative consequences of his actions. YOu should also stop abusing your own family by funneling necessary funds away from them to a boy who does not want to be good, and is relying on you to protect him so he can continue being bad.
If you let him fall once very hard, he may learn from it and out of neccessity become responsable. Or he may end up stabbing numerous white women for their purses. That's also a scenario.

ask the person to prayer to God directly, no need of going to a pastor. God can hear you wherever and whenever.

Umm, how about you get your friend some ""REAL" help. Look in a phone book and get the numbers of places that will address your friends problem. He's not the devil, he dosn't have a demon in him don't be so foolish it's not the 1800's

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I have asked you for many favors but I plead for this one.... then state the request.....and then.....
Take it, place it in your open, broken heart, and when the eternal father sees it, he will not refuse it."
