Can you think of a more convenient, easier, flat out cop-out answer than that? Nothing points out to some guy up there in the sky yet so many people have made up their mind already......
I'll be honest and say we don't know the answer to that question........yet. But we will .. just as we found out that Earth wasn't flat all along, just as we actually were able to go on the moon....

Well I just read that Miss USA is getting a 2nd chance by going to rehab. Do u guys think this is fair?? Yeah I understand the old argument, everybody deserves a 2nd chance, but what are we getting out of this? Ok a druggie uses cocaine and I think it is right to take the crown away. I mean people look up to these damn women and pull this sh*t? Its good that shes going to rehab but I think it would be fair to take the crown away and give it to the runner up. This should be her lesson for doing cocaine. Well even Kate Moss got away wit it. She tested positive for being a crackehead but yeah she got her contracts back. Im like what the F%^&??!!! Why is it becoming more acceptable to be a crackhead? But anyways just my point of view, and im curious to know what everyone else thinks about this!

i went to a catholic grade school and highschool. i have believed-always-in a higher being....

at this time in my life, i wonder if i have missed being devoute(sp?).

i am questioning my faith and i need simple answers from simple people as there seems to be no simple fact.

Yeah, I've been with my guy since I was 14; he was 16. He was my "first". Now, for the first few years he seemed girl crazy, so I was constantly chasing girls away, but excused alot of his actions because we were young and I knew he was wild. After time went by, I noticed that he wasn't worried about the "skirts" and the bedroom became more "kinky", but he started taking off with his friends a little more often than before, especially when we would have a disagreement. Later on I began noticing how he would act with certain guys. These were his special "friends" I guess. I try to be understanding and accepting as long as it stays out of my face and out of our home, but it is extremely difficult. You're supposed to love people unconditionally--right? My curiosity gets me and I tend to ask questions, but he don't want to tell me exactly what he does with these people. Our bedroom techniques are not boreing, I do everything to him that he likes to have done to him. What am I to do now?

he told me " I love you more than God!" ( he is five...how does he know that? i am not a "religious" person) i asked him, " who is God?"..he said " he has the inernet that makes people...the spirits"...this is exactly what he said...i was moved.

I recieved an email a few days ago entitled "how the left stole christmas" (you can read the poem here--http://hernandoccc.blogspot.com/2006/12/how-left-stole-christmas.html) from a member in a yahoo women's group. I responded that it was very offensive and that it was expressing a lack of respect for other faith's celebrations (being a Christian married to a Jew and celebrating Christmas and Chanukah). Would you have said something, ignored and deleted it? What, if anything, would you have done?

at what point do you think scientists will finaly figure out that god has to be real. if your a fan of the big bang theory doesn't it make sense that there is a god because if all the matter in space came together exploded and formed our galaxy then wher did all the matter come from in the first place? god?

My brother came up to me earlier, saying that he was told by his friend that white people are born with this problem that prevents them from catching onto the beats in music, therefore making them naturally bad at dancing. His friend said it was statistically proven and he found sources for it.

I'm not saying I agree with my brother's friend entirely, but I just want to find out from people if they heard of such problem?

I love Christmas but I'm just really not into it this year. Probably just because it doesn;t feel like it at all. It's hard to believe it's 5 days away. I don't know if its because I haven;t had any time to watch any movies or something, The Muppet Christmas Carol usually gets me into it though. Also probably because I've got a lot of other things on my mind. And also I usually take a few days and go shopping all day but no time this year, I just run to the mall quickly the last few days.

I have spent the majority of my life studying and practising the scientific method. I grew up in a Christian home (Reformed Church in America), but I fell away from my faith when I was in college. I really do want to be a "Christian," and have an intimate relationship with "God," but how can I make God fit with my scientific philosophies? If something is unexplainable through science, it is unacceptable to simply submit an irrational (read, not-provable) explanation. Yet, that is exactly what Christians say God is, an unprovable explanation to all things unexplained. A little advice, please?
