Santa Claus really points to Satan.

Santa = jumble the words a bit is an obvious Satan
Claus = really meant Claws

So we have "Satan Claws"

Don't you know that Satan is also know to his worshippers as the "Old Claw"?!!!

It's one way of the many deceptive ways Satan to get some other people to worship him.

Satan is a deceiver. Anything he will do to draw you away from the true and living God.

It's funny you ask that. My oldest daughter figured that at 8 years old. Good thing we never deceived her into believing in Santa. If you teach your children to go along with the world, than, yes! There's a direct correlation between lying to your children and distorting the idea of Christmas as Christ's birthday (even though Christ was NOT born on Dec. 25th and he never commanded us to keep his birthday) , and the "father of all lies". Anything that takes away from the Glory of God is idolatry. I don't think the similarity in the names is a coincidence.

No.

Here's a piece of trivia for you: 'Santa' is Spanish for a female Saint.

However, the original St. Nicholas was as much a male as his current commercialized counterparts.

Saint Nicholas is the Patron Saint of Holland. If you say 'Saint Nicholas' 10 times fast, it sounds like "Sinterclas," or eventually "Santa Claus."

there are only 26 letters in the alphabet, considering the rich varioety of words in the english language there has to be some repetition at some time.

Both are fictitious. Finding similarities or deep meaning in fiction is just expanding the premise of non-reality

"Santa Claus" is how the natives of Turkey pronounce "Saint Nicklaus" in his hometown - and was so mis-written at one point in time by visitors, and thus became "Santa Claus" quite by accident.

The word dog has the same letters as God, too. No, it doesn't mean anything.
