I am, as much as I can be in my current situation. I don't live near any family. My boyfriend is my only "family" here. I will be going home for Christmas but only get to stay for two days because of work. I really love Christmas and family but it's so hard sometimes when you're barely making enough to get by.
I bought gifts for my mom, two brothers, and my boyfriend. I was quite the sleuth and got by on less than $50 with still some very nice gifts. Can you believe that?! Nah, me neither. But it happened. Good thing too because I need to make sure I have enough gas money for all the traveling back and forth!!

No. I get into it less and less every year. But this year, the past 2 months, have really sucked. What the hell do I have to be happy about?
1. My house got broken into.
2. My blood counts (red & white) are high; may be leukemia
3. I'm turning 30 on Christmas.

I love Christmas also but it is also sad both of my parents are no longer with us and I REALLY miss them at the holidays.just think if you watch a couple of Christmas movies and go out and get in the mad rush and remember the reason for the season you should be good to go~Happy Holidays

Yes! Too much so, in fact. I went a little over-budget on Christmas this yr. (Oops!) I hope you can find time for some peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. Some time to think and unwind so you can enjoy the holidays! Merry Christmas!

Ahh I'm not much in the Christmas spirit yet, either. It's seriously is way too hot outside, weather here is like it would normally be in Spring. It's not cool...have you decorated for Christmas? The atmosphere in the room always helps me get into the spirit; so I always decorate on Thanksgiving. I'm sorry about your friend-dilemma, btw. :( (Hopefully some sense will get knocked into him before the Christmas holiday and he'll come around) And yes, that might just be the problem...I would get another good friend to do Christmas-y things with while the time passes. It's always nice to have company; especially a good friend who will talk to you while y'all are having fun.

I love it to but yeah this year i'm having a hard time too, think it's because i just moved to Las Vegas, and it seems odd not having any snow around. Pine tree's have been replaced by palm tree's.

Not really. I want to be of the Christmas spirit for the sake of my family and godchildren, but I see this as nothing extraordinary. I wish it could be otherwise.
