He creates man then kills him in a flood because man didn't listen.

He plays favorites.

He rewards his greatest prophet by not letting him into the promised land (all over a rock).

He displays jealousy in more then several occasions.

He loves us but will not intercede on our behalf.

He allows his greatest worshiper Job to be screwed with by his arch-nemesis.

he claims omnipotence but with the state of the world how can he also be seen as loving.

We are all god's children yet most of us are going to hell.

And the best you can come up with is "it is not for us to understand."

Listen even if I believed in a God I wouldn't follow yours not with that resume'. And the Jesus thing, what was that his way of saying I'm sorry for that whole 40 years in the desert?

Replace the father's name with your dad's name and see if you would feel the same way about the decisions he's made on our "behalf."

Why do you follow him again. oh yeah! The fear tactic of Hell.

Im a server, and have been serving for a few years now. I have learned to accept that people are going to be rude sometimes. I just smile and apologize and act like a robot-emotionless. If i have a table that is running me to death, or just being rude to me, how can i tell them "hey im ******* human and you have no right to treat me like im your ******* slave b*tch!" in a nice way?

I do not have a job. I do not have friends. I do not have a social life. The only place I go to is Community college a few times a week, and that is something I entirely hate doing. I find that this winter is consisted of days of extreme boredom...it feels almost as if that my life is consisted of one big wide empty gap. On the weekends I go to NYC just to do something...and I still end up being alone! I usually walk around 42nd and 8th ave in Manhattan all the way up to central park, then buy a 40 of malt liquor, get drunk, and stagger around for a while, then by 4am, I take the train and go home. This is my idea of "partying". Just how ******* pathetic is that? Can somebody help me overcome my extreme social anxiety, extreme boredom, and severe loniless? I am thinking about calling an outcall escort next week for 200 bucks just to have a GFE, which is something I've never had before.
Please help me.

Over the past few week's I have probably gave about £150 - to charity.. Everyday someone is always wanting a donation for something or other.. Today - I had to say - enough is enough..I simply cant give anymore...does anyone feel the same ? Should we get a receipt for when we make a donation so we can show it - to other collectors to avoid any embarassment ?

Example-
To call an irishman a "mick" is now not acceptable. Why when for years there was no stigma attached to being called a "mick."

Example-
Why was "love thy neighbour" dropped by the tv stations when it clearly showed that the "white bigot" was the fool and treated as such.

Example-
Why was "the Benny Hill show" axed when it was at the height of its fame and never more popular at any other time.
Remenber it showed girls chasing Benny and not the other way round.

Example-
Why is it not a stigma for an underage or any unwed girl to become pregnant any more?

It was considered shameful when I was young, so whats changed tpo make it acceptable?

Alright, I said "Lo olvidé." To my teacher, saying that I forgot something, and he said that it could be instead as something like "se me olvidó." I'm not sure if that's exactly what he said. I think he said something like it forgot me instead of I forgot it... can anybody help me out with it, and tell me maybe why it says that instead? Any help would be much appreciated.

It is optional for me to log on to this website. It is also optional for you to do so. So if I choose to go to the Religion and Spirituality category to talk about my christian beliefs, do you unbelievers feel as though I am forcing my beliefs onto you? If so, why? As long as I am not abusive to others I should not be described as ramming my faith down someone's throat. Is it possible that some of you are overly defensive? If a christian did something wrong to you in the past, does that justify you treating me the same way?

Religion and Spirituality is the reason we are reading and answering these questions, but what we get from this is hate and judgement of a whole because of an individual. How can we help the world to understand that we are all so special in our uniqueness, yet we are all so human?
