I heard about this god sometime ago, and I was wondering what you could tell me about it. Who is he/she? What does he/she do? What to people pray to him/her for?

I'm not a hindu, but from what I understand, Shiva is a God of Destruction. There is an old legend that says he is sleeping and when he opens his eye, the entire universe will be destroyed.While in a sort of half-trance,his followers pierce themselves with poles and construct an elaborate framework to support a parasol that is suspended by them during one of their ceremonies.That's all I know.

The only God i know is Jesus Christ. He is the one who loved me so much, He died for me, and Rose again on the third day. He is the one who saved me, and Blesses me, and supplies my needs. He is the only one truly living God.
