Evidence. Other than the bible, which is a book written and compiled by men, who left a great deal of material out of it on purpose. So, there you go. Go get some, and I'll be happy to acknowledge that you're right and I'm wrong. Even something small will do.

One personified deity? or one.... Something? Because I'm a Taoist, and I don't believe in deities per se but I do believe in an abstract energy that you could call God but it's not personified or defined.
The tao that can be told
Is not the eternal Tao.
The name that can be named
Is not the eternal Name.
The unnamable is the eternally real.
Naming is the origin
Of all particular things.
the Tao is like a well:
used but never used up.
It is the eternal void:
Filled with infinite possibilities.
It is hidden but always present.
I don’t know what gave birth to it.
It is older than God.
The Tao is infinite, eternal.
Why is it eternal?
It was never born;
Thus it can never die.
Why is it infinite?
It has no desires for itself;
Thus it is present for all things.

I have been asked this question many times, but even after much thought I have never been able to come up with an asnwer.
My usualy response is god knows what I need to witness in order to believe. Therefore if god exists and wants me to believe he has to convince me.

What if the nature of god is nonexistence? Wouldn't both theists and atheists be right? But any journey of a spiritual endeavor is not about right or wrong, it's about the journey, and what direction leads to your source (that you're looking for).

He could get me some games for xbox360 for xmas. If he delivered them in person.
I would might even believe if the bible or Koran made logical argument not these idiotic fables that contradict them self and science.

What would it take for you to acknowledge the existance of any god other than the one you worship? When you understand why you reject all those other gods you'll understand why we Atheists reject all gods.

Proof. Including but not limited to a) a personal physical tangible corporeal visit; b) a clear concise and logical explanation of everything I ask; c) Amelia Earhart's whereabouts (with supporting pictures); d) a phone number where he she or it can be reached later for additional questions - because you ALWAYS think of things later.

Call him down out of the sky for the entire world to see and believe. You'd think if he was real and truly cared about us here on earth he'd make it simple and not this strange and sadistic con that religious people of all kinds want us to swallow.

I can see and feel my gods every day. Without them there would be no life.
The Sun, The Moon, The Earth.
They are the only "things" (for want of a better word) that come close to the concept of GOD.
They dont give a damn about me but they nourish me and warm me and feed me. They could also kill me without a second thought. I came from them, and I shall return to them.

What would it take for you not to believe in God?
True believers don't go out of their way to antagonize and prove others who believe different wrong.
There is no peace in it and if there is no peace in it, it is not of God.
