I agree with what Billy Graham once said on the subject. He said that animals are not like humans, in that they can't sin. If heaven is to be a real joy for us, and we loved our pets and wanted to have them again, I don't see why we couldn't have them. God placed animals on earth for our benefit in this world, so why not in the after world? (or something like that). It isn't a direct quote, but it is the meaning of what he said. Remember the passage in Psalms or somewhere, "The lion shall lay down with the lamb, the child will play with the asp and not be harmed, etc". If lions, lambs, snakes, children (as children--not as adults), then why not our pets?

Do animals have spirits/souls that continue after death? I believe they do. Is heaven a busy crowded place with a zillion dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and monkeys running around doing what they want? No. My belief is there willl be animals in my heaven. I also believe that someone else who dosn't like animals.. may have an animal free heaven. Heaven is what we choose it to be. It's a dimentional exisitance.. therefore.. it can be totally different and completly unique for everyone.. Which is one reason it's truly "heaven". If you want your dear Kitty and Mr. Bunny to be there waiting for you.. they will.. If you never really liked them and don't want to be bothered by them there.. they will find something better to do with their afterlife time.

Yes they go to heaven, they have souls, mind body and spirit..... I know this is true. My whole family See's Ghost angels and spirits, it's in the blood. I never did see a animal spirit, but my brother and grandmother both at different times saw our dog come back.
About 7 years ago I had my beagle put down, because of cancer.... I felt her presence just after I buried her, and later that night she jumped up on the bed and laid down at my feet like she always did, I felt her presence.
And I know someone that died and came back, this person saw animals in heaven...... believe it or not.

Animals *do* have souls. They reincarnate back onto earth as humans before getting the opportunity to continue evolving until they are ready for heaven.
There are some *EXTREMELY* smart dogs ... does anyone really think they don't have souls and just cease to exist? A soul is simply a unit of awareness and as such it is eternal. Animals certainly possess that.

The Bible does not say for sure if pets go to Heaven or not.Our pets are part of us, and we love them just as much as our family. Only God knows what happens to them, when they die.

I think we will have animals in heaven. I am not too big of an animal lover but I do not mind having them around in heaven because I do not have to be scared of them anymore.

I don't think they go to heaven. I wish though. They are here to be our companions, other animals are meant to be eaten, others are just meant to keep the world turning. Dogs, cats, horses and other animals can have very close relationships with us but face it, they don't make any spiritual decisions. too bad though...: (

Sorry, but no. Heaven is for people, since only humans have souls.

I know all dogs do (that was a joke). Seriously, I'm sure they do. Animals don't really have the sense of reason, so they can't really be evil.
