We all know how the stereotype in here goes. My way is the right way and everyone else is wrong. Well, let's see if we can look past our prejudices and have a tiny test.

Below are four people I know. One Catholic, one Methodist, one follower of the Norse tradition, and one Pagan with no chosen path. These are not nice examples, and that is done on purpose. Can you tell who is who? I"m curious as to how you'd judge them.

A. This girl mutters a blessing when passing a car that displays religious items not of her religion.

B. This guy stole $1200 or more from his fiance in two weeks without feeling guilty about it, not even when caught.

C. This girl cheated on all her lovers and then smeared their names when they broke up with her.

D. This guy cheated (yes another one) on his girlfriend and used his fathers cancer as a reason to break up, so he could see the other girl until she left.

So, why do you think each is of what religion?

I have gotten some horrible gifts! I am sure everyone has. I know for me it is hard to react in such a way that will not offend the giver, but I guess you have to learn. I think the worst gift (that I can remember) was a ceramic beehive that was for holding a scrubby sponge ( to wash dishes with). Everyone can use a scrubby sponge, but the beehive was way too ugly!!!

In the Qur'an Allah (SWT) has ordered us to cover ourselves and our beauty and to lower our gaze except from our fathers, grandfathers, husbands, brothers, etc.
Why are Muslims after practicing Muslimahs who are covering themselves to obey their Lord?
Why do people have a problem with a Niqab when women are allowed to be naked to satisfy men?
Is covering starting to become illegal?
Why can't Muslimahs devote themselves to their Lord?
I've only seen weak excuses:
* Problem with communication (that is not a problem at all! putting a cloth in front of your face does not limit the volume of your voice!)
* Shoplifting!!??? (i've never heard of such! do people who are uncovered not shoplifit? that's the world's every day problem!)
* stands out as different (there are people who do the weirdest things and wear the weirdest dresses and they are accepted---why can't a muslimah be accepted for doing something for her Lord?)
What do you have to say?

How does it happen that a person hates one's parents when the parent provided for food, shelter and clothing? To love one's parents, must there be more connection than by food, shelter and clothing?

Since 9/11, there have been 6,795 terrorist attacks by islamics all over the world.

In October, there were 294 muslim terror attacks leaving 1,634 dead and 1,436 maimed.

And of course, moderate muslims in free countries marched in protest of the violence.... Yeah, right.

I just prefer not to deal with indoor pets and their messes. I also have allergies. We had dogs when I was a kid, the house always smelled "doggy" and the dogs made messes all over the house. One dog was never fully housebroken. Another one would run back and forth from his dish with his food, and deposit food all over the house. We tried feeding him in a crate, but all he was whine and would not eat.One shedded CONSTANTLY. There was hair EVERYWHERE, ALL THE TIME.I worked as a waitress at the time, I got to work and realized that my uniform was covered in dog hair. I am the only one of all my friends who does not have pets, and I am tired of people saying that I hate animals. I would NEVER hurt an animal, I simply do not want one in my house, pooping on my floor , leaving hair everywhere, and grinding food into my rugs.

Claims that are impossible to prove, like god created the universe and all with in, eternal live, Noah’s ark, the walls of Jericho, people living 300 years old & up wards, Adam & Eve and many many more. Not to say they are impossible, but could it be merely books of law & ethics and that man has played a great roll in foresting what is general believed for the sake of control. If today 90% of the people would say there are no such things as God or Gods, what would be the effects on all the claims made in these books

I'm having an all-girls (ages 21-25)Christmas party next week, and I need some ideas for games to play. It could be silly, dirty, or off-the-wall, just so long as it's fun. Any ideas are appreciated!

I'm learning Spanish at the moment. The one thing I'm struggling with is when to use the word Que. Not only does it seem to have several meanings (what, which) but it seems that it can be added to some sentences to change the meaning but not to mean either what or which >> tengo que beber = I have to drink

Que seems to be the main thing that I'm not sure about. When to use it, when to use it for where instead of Cual, can it change the meaning of a sentence in a similar way to when it's used with Tener etc.

Thanks in advance.

My mom is a Jehovah's Witness. I have practiced the religion too. About four years ago I got reinstated after being disfellowshipped for six years. Now almost a year ago I quit attending the services and associating with the congregation. I haven't done anything to get disfellowshipped again but I just don't want to be that religion anymore. I don't think it's for me. I have free will. My problem is my two little boys are going to be 4 and 3 and I really want to attend the birthday party their dad is having for them but I don't want to disappoint or hurt my mom's feelings. She brought me up as JW so I know what she believes and what she expects me to believe. But I haven't been doing anything with that religion for almost a year. I want to celebrate all the holidays with my husband and the boys. How can I get over hurting my mom? Should I be happy or should my mom. I don't want my relationship with my mom to go to pot again. I've been there before and it was horrible.

Ok, I wanna get one thing str8 here, hehehe. 1 December 2006 will forever be kown as the happiest day in a South African gay or lesbian couples life. On that day it became legal for a gay or lesbian couple to get married and obtain full legal rights. Now I wanna know. Im American and gay, if me and my boyfriend fly to South Africa to get married would our 'marriage' be legally recognized under United States law or would it have to be anulled or disolved because its not a recognized law in USA ? I f anyone can shed some light on this subject, please feel free to let me know !
