I just prefer not to deal with indoor pets and their messes. I also have allergies. We had dogs when I was a kid, the house always smelled "doggy" and the dogs made messes all over the house. One dog was never fully housebroken. Another one would run back and forth from his dish with his food, and deposit food all over the house. We tried feeding him in a crate, but all he was whine and would not eat.One shedded CONSTANTLY. There was hair EVERYWHERE, ALL THE TIME.I worked as a waitress at the time, I got to work and realized that my uniform was covered in dog hair. I am the only one of all my friends who does not have pets, and I am tired of people saying that I hate animals. I would NEVER hurt an animal, I simply do not want one in my house, pooping on my floor , leaving hair everywhere, and grinding food into my rugs.

There are people everywhere telling you what you should do. Heck, they've even got Yahoo to set up a site especially for it!

If you don't want a pet, you definately shouldn't have a pet. Pets need to be where they're wanted and appreciated.

Btw, dogs are great pets, they just have to have consistant training. From the sounds of it, all the dogs you've had growing up were not trained properly. Which is as unfortunate for them as for you. With a well-trained dog, the only problem you should have to deal with is shedding, and even that you can train them to only be in certain areas of the house and not to get on the furniture. So the only way you'd get covered in hair should be if you rolled on the floor.

Stop worrying about what people say. I run into the same thing. People are always telling me that I need a pet because I live by myself.

I just tell them that unless they are willing to come to my house and take care of the animal for me, I'm not getting a pet. It just doesn't fit into my life, but I enjoy visiting other people's pets.

completely frequent to me. We refer to all our pets like we'd people, probable much greater. they seem to comprehend what you're saying a great style of the time. Our wolf combination talks to us besides, she'll say a appropriate hi as quickly as we come. She calls my husband by making use of his nickname, for sure. a number of our cats have even discovered to assert the word out.

You should start eating random house pets just to piss them off.

Don't worry about it, you are not required to own pets, get married, have kids, or get a job.
