Does the current state of Iraq support Paul's view? If it does not support it, where does it stand in light of it?

Did/does Iraq need Saddam?

Someone posted a question, "Why are you Christian", so I decided that it would only be fair to let the non-Christians speak. So go ahead!!!

He mixes around with only the guys in class and never bothers about us. Besides that he loves staring at our magazines about male celebs, he seems to avoid conversing with the female staff and enjoys interacting with the male staff. I'm just really curious to know.

I don't mind looking up the verses myself, just point me in the right direction, please. Of course, if the verse is small, post away!

The verses you post don't have to include all three categories; one or two will suffice. I'm trying to find references in Islam, telling Muslims how they should relate to "unbelievers".

Thanks.

1)Are you a Christian because you were raised one and never even considered any other path or religion?
2)Are you a Christian because you had a conversion (mystical) experience?
3)Are you a Christian because you studied and searched many different religions and felt most closely drawn to Christianity?
4)Some other reason.

Also, how do you personally reconcile modern science and it’s view of reality with your faith?

As a kid I loved it. As an adult I absolutely dread the holiday. There's stress in stretching a thin budget, the "pretending" you have to do with family that you do not like, and even in accepting gifts from people when you can't reciprocate.
I know it's not supposed to be about those things, and if it wasn't I would still be looking forward to it. In reality however, Christmas is commercial - a really long commercial...........
Anyone have any ideas on how to overcome the stress and feel what the season is supposed to be about? I'm looking for answers other than "getting drunk" because been there, done that (although I will be doing it again no doubt!).
Anyway, Merry Christmas from me to all of you. If you don't celebrate it, accept my warmest wishes.
Thanks for all your answers!

Maybe this is an impossible question, but here it is: I am 19, I have neve been allowed-by my parents-to get a job or save money, but now they are planning to force me to get married I need to get away. herein is the real issue...I need to leave sometime soon, talking end of this year, but I have no money, no job and no way of being able to earn enough money before the year ends. i definitely plan to move out of the city that they are in. I at first planned to move from Atlanta to New York but seeing as how-without money-that is pretty much impossible I have no idea how I would be able to do that so I am going to settle for just living in the next city...for now. Anyway, I have trade skills-medical assistant and accounting-and a high-school diploma. I am not sure if that will help anything but does anyone have any idea how I can do this? Is there some kind of government help I can get or something else that I can do? I have enough money to get there, I just need help from there on...

I still live at home and my friend is getting married....she send a personal invite to my house for my married younger sister and then also sent an invite to the rest of the family. How should the RSVP be handled....I might want to bring my current BF should I include that in my "families" number and should I buy the bride and groom a gift as I am personally friends with them both.
Also should I be offended that I wasn't invited personally?
