I shoplifted 4 the first time and i dont know what 2 do ?

i never do anything like this , and i hope i never will again , I shoplifted a drink from a shop and i feel so bad , i wasnt caught and i havent told anything , I feel really bad and i dont know what to do about it ?

Put the money for the drink in an envelope along with a note of apology. Send it to the store right away. Let the stain of what you did be wiped away from your heart, but don't ever let the memory of how awful it made you feel be wiped away from your mind.

I manage a store and catch shoplifters all the time. You all say the same thing..."I'm so sorry".. If you were sorry about it you wouldn't have done it in the first place. Oh and the classic, "Can I just pay for it now?"-you should have thought about that in the first place.

Shoplifting has consequences: you will get fined, arrested and have a criminal record. In my state if you are 17 years or older, it will effect your ability to get a job as you have to report this on applications. The fine is $286.00. Now is that worth the cost of the drink you stole.

Trust me, you may not have been caught this time, but at some point you will. It's only a matter of time before you do, the embarrassment of getting caught should be enough to deter you. It's too late to do anything about it now, you could go back and pay for it, but really you won't. So just don't do it again.....

Oh Stop it! You don't feel bad at all. In fact you are thinking that it was pretty darn easy to get something for free. So you are thinking of trying again, only something bigger this time. Jewelry perhaps? Then what? A car? The next thing you know you are doing time for the next 35 years cause while in your stolen car you were being chased by the cops and after you killed the pregnant lady and her 2 kids she was holding cause you were just careless and stupid! Sitting in your cell, you look back and wonder where you went wrong in life. Because you STOLE a can of pop and didn't know what to do.! Go back and PAY for it! First of all if you go back and tell the manager what you did, you may get more praise than you think, and next thing you know you will be owner of a chain of stores. Funny how lifes decisions are important. You know what to do, so just do it.

Drink what ever you stole and get over it. If you do it more you will eventually get caught, the next time or in 10 years from now, but it's really no big deal. They tell you it is, but it's not. People steal things every day, you won't go to hell and the world won't crash down upon your head. Though if you don't want for the man in blue to get you, you might just not do it any more and be ok with what you've done.

Go back to the store and make amends. Either involve the store manager by making apologies and paying for the object,or not.If it is strictly your conscience that is bothering you, then do the right thing for yourself and do it quietly. Go to the store, buy the item again and then replace it back on the shelf and then leave. This should achieve the desired result.
