I don't mind looking up the verses myself, just point me in the right direction, please. Of course, if the verse is small, post away!

The verses you post don't have to include all three categories; one or two will suffice. I'm trying to find references in Islam, telling Muslims how they should relate to "unbelievers".

Thanks.

surah 3:64 Say "Oh people of the Book! (jews and christians) Come to an agreement between us and you; that we worship none other than God (Allah), and that we do not place partners with Him, and that we do not take from among ourselves lords and patrons other than God."

If they turn their back, you say "Be it known to you and bear witness that we are Muslims, who surrender to God's Will."

Surely those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the Christians, and the Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last day and does good, they shall have their reward from their Lord, and there is no fear for them, nor shall they grieve. (2-62)
Furthermore, the Jews assert, "The Christians have no valid ground for their beliefs," while the Christians assert, "The Jews have no valid ground for their beliefs" - and both quote the divine writ! Even thus, like unto what they say, have [always] spoken those who were devoid of knowledge;"(93) but it is God who will judge between them on Resurrection Day with regard to all on which they were wont to differ. (2-113)
You have the to read the whole sura in order to understand properly it is even better to read it with explanition, there are a lot of verses about Jews and Christians
Peace and have a happy day

The Verse Of The Sword from Al-Tawbah
Fight and slay the pagans (infidels) wherever ye find them, and seize them,
beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem of war." - Sura 9:5

"Prophet, make war on unbelievers and hypocrites, and deal rigorously
with them." - Sura 9:73

"Let not the unbelievers think they will ever get away. They have not
the power to do so. Muster against them all the men and cavalry at
your command, so that you may strike terror into the enemy of Allah
and your enemy... Prophet, (Muhammed) rouse the faithful to arms!
If they (the non-Muslims) incline to peace (accept Islam) make
peace with them." - Sura 8:59

"If they reject your judgement, know that it is Allah's wish to scourge
them for their sins." - Sura 5:49

"Believers (Muslims), take neither Jews nor Christians to be your
friends: they are friends with one another.
Whoever of you seeks their friendship shall become one of their number,
and God does not guide (those Jewish and Christian) wrong-doers." - Sura 5:51

well I'm going to give breife introduction on our relations to non-believers:
Islam is a universal religion, to all humanity; the teaching of Islam has been ment for every part of Muslim life wether he is going to be rewarded for it or has negative scooring, even for simple things e.g sleeping, eating, smileing to a friend, sleeping with your wife.....etc.
This is why the teaching of Islam is very specific.
-------------------------------
The Non beleivers are classified to three categories:
Those who had a previous religion but had manibulations and hence has been replaced by Islam " Christian and Jew"
Those who arePagan
the worest are those who are the hypocrite as they has ben described in Quran they are at the bottom of the hell.
So, the way to deal with them is different e.g we are allowed to mary and eat from the food ( when they sacrify animals or birds)prepared by those who hold a book " Chris. and Jew" but not from Pagans.
-------------------------
Most of the discussions now a days going around war ! we are supposed to fight those who fight us and to have peace with those who are peacfull. e.g now a days Israilies occupying Palastine so, we are in war with them, but not the Jew around the world.
So, this verse will explain in simple terms the attitude toward the Pagans whom considered much less than Christians and Jew in the way we deal with them.

Surah 60. She That Is To Be Examined, Examining Her

8. Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for Allah loveth those who are just.

9. Allah only forbids you, with regard to those who fight you for (your) Faith, and drive you out of your homes, and support (others) in driving you out, from turning to them (for friendship and protection). It is such as turn to them (in these circumstances), that do wrong.

1/105 ( It is never the wish of those without Faith among the People of the Book, nor of the Pagans, that anything good should come down to you from your Lord. But Allah will choose for His special mercy whom He will for Allah is Lord of grace abounding. )
----------------------------------------------------------
2/99( Say: "O ye People of the Book! why obstruct ye those who believe, from the path of Allah, seeking to make it crooked, while ye were yourselves witnesses (to Allah's Covenant)? But Allah is not unmindful of all that ye do." )
-------------------------------------------------
4/171(O People of the Book! commit no excesses in your religion: nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Al-Masih 'Isa the son of Maryam was (no more than) A Messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Maryam, and a Spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His Messengers. Say not "Trinity": desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is One God: glory be to Him: (far Exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs. )
------------------------------------------
26/[46] And dispute ye not with the People of the Book, except with means better (than mere disputation), unless it be with those of them who inflict wrong (and injury); but say, "We believe in the Revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you; our God and your God is One; and it is to Him we bow (in Islam)."

26/[47] And thus (it is) that We have sent down the Book to thee. So the People of the Book believe therein, as also do some of these (Pagan Arabs) and none but Unbelievers reject Our Signs.
-------------------------------
hope that what you want , tell me if you wanna more :)

I'm muslim.
