I'm an athiest and i think ur mostly right. problem is even ppl with no religion do sometimes single out others to hate, which is stupid.
I dont hate any specific religion, ppl i count as friends include christians, muslims, hindus buddhists and other athiests and i have no issues with any of them, but they have no issues with each others religion either, so having a religion their own religion they dont hate any other religion.
My answer doesnt include bloody extremists from any religion or without one. they just oughta be ******* **** ** *** ******.

Atheism is just as much a religion as any other and has its own fundamentalist beliefs. So although some people may try to deny it, there is no one who does not have a religion.
Today, many people call themselves atheists and it is frequently argued that atheism is the only rational viewpoint. However, it is also often said that there is no such thing as a real atheist. This is supported by the Bible which declares: “only a fool says in his heart that there is no God.”
So which view is correct?
If we give a just little thought to this matter, we can see that there is no argument at all as to whether the qualities and properties usually attributable to God actually exist. This is certain and beyond dispute. So really the only disagreement is over the source or origin of these attributes.
Furthermore, we can see that there are only 2 possible alternative sources of these attributes. It is self evident that something material can never come out of (absolute) nothing of its own accord (First Law of Thermodynamics). We know that something material exists (i.e. the universe), therefore something must have always existed, something must be eternal and have had no beginning. This eternal something, can only be:
1. A force or power independent of the material, and thus the Creator of the material, OR
2. The material itself.
So an eternal nature must be possessed by, EITHER:
1. A Supernatural Power.
OR
2. Matter/energy.
Consequently, all the other qualities, powers and potentialities which exist in the universe must be attributable only to ONE OR OTHER of these two alternative 'eternal' sources.
Some of the qualities existing in the material world.
Laws of Nature, Information & means of information storage (DNA etc.), Life, Design, Order, Motion, Love, Choice, Good, Beauty, Emotion, Intelligence, Kindness, Personality, Morality, Awareness, Justice, Wisdom, Hope, Joy, skill, etc.
There is no disagreement that these qualities are present in the universe. The only dispute is over the source or origin of these qualities.
SO
Is the stuff of the universe (matter/energy) eternal? Does this 'eternal matter' intrinsically possess all the above qualities, or the inherent potential to produce them of its own volition?
OR
Is there a power greater than, pre-existing and independent of, the material? A Supernatural Creator of the material, possessor and originator of all the above attributes evident in the material creation?
IT CAN ONLY BE ONE OR THE OTHER
SO THIS IS THE ONLY DISAGREEMENT, AND IT IS AN AGE, OLD DISAGREEMENT.
No atheist would attempt to claim that mankind is the originator of all these qualities. We are not eternal, we did not create ourselves or the universe, something greater than us essentially exists'. Is that something a Supernatural Creator God? Or a purely material power which must intrinsically possess all the qualities, powers & potentialities usually attributed to a Supernatural Creator God?- - A material god? - - A pagan god!
THEREFORE, THE CHOICE IS CLEAR,- - FACE THE FACTS!- - ATHEISM (or even agnosticism) IS NOT AN OPTION. YOU MUST PAY HOMAGE TO A POWER WHICH IS GREATER THAN YOURSELF, either; The Creator God of the Bible, or; the material pagan god or gods' (represented by: Mother Earth, Nature, the Sun, Moon, or idols of stone, wood etc.) which you must necessarily imbue with the SAME ATTRIBUTES.
SO NOW CHOOSE YOUR GOD?

There are two possibilities:
1.) People who no specific religion can hate religion because of the evils it causes. Like me. But I do not hate the brainwashed who believe in those religions.
2.) Then there are others, like you, who do not hate any religion at all.
So, it depends. I think there are more whp profess no religion who fall in category #1 than those that fall in #2, though.
Okay, there is a third group, those that hate both the religion and the followers. I wish this third group didn't exist, but it does...

i am not religious either, However i do believe in the force of religion. Religion has a part in the lives of many, and if it gives people a sense of who they are and it creates a good in their lives, then I support it. However, being not religious does not take away my viewpoint that there are some religions that create more harm within their flock than others. And I do have a view on what religions should be wiped away fromm the face of humanity.

at least us none believers can truely say that we have not had a hand in the war,i think that life is a matter of action bringing consequence,if we all treat the people we the way we would like to be treated then there would be no need to fall out and fight in war. although a good row every now and again is good for ya.

Not to bust your chops, but I think you have your head in the sand if you think everything's ok, and all religions are ok. How about this: Jesus hated "religion." Not the people in the religion but the rotten, corrupt and powerful systems that keep their minds in bondage. He often spoke out against established religious leaders, like the Saducees and the Pharisees. He called them "vipers" and "hypocrites."
Some religions cannot coexist, due to their inherent beliefs. Stop being a crowd-pleaser. Love people, hate the evil worldly systems and try to get them out of bondage and into the truth!

I would have to disagree because I hate Christianity and Islam. Most of the followers are pretty cool. But the religions themselves contain a proscription to preach and convert the world, unlike every other religion on the planet. This leads to fundamentalism and to absoluteism, and ultimately, to the massive culture clash the world is facing lately.
Christianity and Islam will be the cause of World War III by their influence on their fundamentalist supporters.

I have read you question.
I have read the other answers.
So, here goes.
Do monkeys have religion ? No.
Do they fight ? Yes
Do lions have religion ? No
Do they fight ? Yes.
All animals will fight over territory, possessions, food, power and mating rituals.
We forget that we are also just animals, we just have more things to fight over.
Religion does, I agree, seem to be very high up the list !
Wars however, have much more to do with power than religion.
But, religion always makes a much better excuse.

That's a possibility. it used to be that people were outspoken about hating Jews. No one ever commented about their distaste for the Jewish religion. Nowadays, it is popular to hate both Muslims and Islam. Mostly, I don't believe their bigotry stems from loving their own religion. It comes from the propaganda that they were taught. it is also part of the "us and Them" phenomenon that makes it easy to hate "them".

I do not believe. We are born then we die- they are the two things that unite us all. The bit in between with the religion should not separate us. Faith and belief is fine, but don't hate others for not believing the same.
