If you care about being tact or socially appropriate, then you can't; there's no real way to ask a question like that 100% right.
If you care less about such things then if you even hope of a real answer then it should be in private and a decent setup about how you know the question may be considered inappropriate and that of course he doesn't have to answer because it is personal. Stay sensitive to such things; you never know how people will react.

I don't think that its in your place to ask your teacher if he's gay...That's none of your business so what if he mixes well with men better than females, maybe he doesn't want staff members to say that he flirts with the females in his class...Think outside the box. And remember curiosity killed the cat...

You don't ask. Its his business. If he wants you to know he will tell you. He might just be scared to converse with females because being a male teacher is a hard situation with how many young girls cry wolf and say their male teachers are inappropriate.

Unless you know your teacher personally, I would avoid this question. It would be inappropriate for him to ask you about your sex life, right? Show him the same courtesy, and mind your own business!
If you feel that he favors the boys more in class, to the point where he is ignoring the girl's education, THEN you have something to complain about.

I think you know the answer by now. Maybe you could casually talk to him. When my sister went to college, she had an art teacher who was gay and always treated the male students better.

It's really none of your business. As long as he's teaching and following the rules, leave his personal life out of the equation.

If you believe he is a good teacher and person then what difference does it make if he is gay or not? Why don't you pay more attention to your classes than what orientation someone is.

It's probably best if you don't ask him at all. That's kind of a personal question for a teacher/student relationship.

You can't ask him that question. It's a violation of privacy. Plus teachers are evil. Especialy the male ones.

Mind your own business. Would you like people asking you personal questions about your private life? Just do your school work and don't worry about it.
