In 2 Kings 2, we find this horrific story:

"(Elisha) went up from there to Bethel; and while he was going up on the way, some small boys came out of the city and jeered at him, saying, 'Go away, baldhead! Go away, baldhead!' When he turned around and saw them, he cursed them in the name of the Lord. Then two she-bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the boys."

Havent been on the board long this morning, but it seems to be a good board so far. So just for fun, what lead you to God?

Heres mine. I had never been taught about God or Jesus. When I was 13 my mom and I watched Jesus Christ Superstar, and it was the first time I really heard the story. Soon after, I started in a Private Christian school, and heard more everyday. One day, in an afternoon chapel service, I felt God calling to me, and I accepted Salvation. My mom finds it funny Jesus Christ Superstar laid the ground work for my salvation, but the Lord works in mysterious ways!

God Bless!

I am considering getting a tattoo, and saw several ideas for Triquetra designs, and I was wondering if anyone knew about why some have circles in them and others don't. Is it a Christian symbol or pagan? This website says both: http://www.religioustattoos.net/Other_Tattoos/Triquetras/index.php

Thanks!

It was an accident I wanted it to go down the drain. The warm water makes my bladder go weak. I tried to explain but to no avail.

Please
Thank you
Pardon (excuse) me
(I'm) sorry
You're welcome

I've become guilty of not being polite when it really isn't any more effort. When I hear these phrases, it does tend to make me feel just a bit better. Do you have any other phrases which should be used more often when interacting with friends/strangers?

i dont know if i spelt that right....
i am home schooled, and a junior in highschool. we do bible study everymorning, as faith is very important to our family.
this morning after a discusion on heaven... i realized that i was going to be me forever. that once i die and god willingly go to heaven, that is it. i am there for the rest of my life...
i dont want to live forever, mortally or immortally, i dont want to be the same person for ever. I can not stand the thought of living forever. that is a very long time, yet i dont want to die and just disapear into oblivian, because that scares me. i realize that at 16 death is not a huge issue, but it could happen. what do you think... do you want to live forever in god's kingdom... even if that means living for hundreds of millions of years, and never parishing...
