"Human" is the creation of God.
"Religion" is a creation of human race.
What is a creation of God is certainly more important than a creation of humans!
I don`t quite agree with religion because it separates the nations. If there was a "universal religion" or no religion, just God but without a hundred faces as religion tends to describes Him, things would be better.
And it is not right to judge a person by the religion as it is wrong to do it from the colour of the skin.
But religion itself tends to create fanatism and the result is the violation of the human rights.
Take for example the war in the middle East. Those people kill themselves in the name of God (Allah) because their religion says so. "You should sacrifice yourself because the enemy has to be destroyed"
Do you think God would ever accept people dying like this or killing others in His name?

Religion is a set of man-made rules to follow if you want to be religious. Most religious people know of God but don't know God. The religious folks were concerned with the way they were dressed. 'Is my hat the biggest one in here?'. or 'hasn't she wore that dress before?' There is a lot of gossip. It is a difference in denominations.
Spiritually has no denominations. It's not about how you look. It has nothing to do with gossip.
Spirituality is a relationship between you and God. When you pray and 'wait upon the Lord', you will enjoy a peaceful restful feeling. But most important, you will be seeking him, and he is faithful to be there.
Spiritual knowledge can propel you to achieve your goals and provide an effective plan for living.
"Spiritually connects us with the profoundly powerful and divine force that is present in this universe."
"Spirituality is a shift into a knowing of the heart", not the physical one, but the symbolic one within you. Symbolic heart represents all the ways of knowing beyond the rational mind.
I could go on and on. I love studying about spirituality.
You to can learn. I bought the book 'Spirituality for dummies', by Sharon Janis. It is a challenge but also powerful.
Thanks for asking this question.

Relgion is a poor excuse to explain the what is currently unexplainable. Modern religion is more like a showcase; people wear religion like a suit. Many will imply that they are completely right in their religion, but they are not. No one can know assuredly what is right. Mankind should not be bound by a seemingly ficticious basis for life. Hell, I might as well worship the Easter Bunny, the same will result...nothing.

Religions are created by humans. The question would be humanity or spirituality. And I couldn't consider one without the other.

Jesus came to earth to save humans, not religions.
True Christianity develops a relationship betwee man and Jesus, not between man and religion.
Humans are more important to God than is religion.

Human, as religion is merely a vehicle to assist them. You should not focus on the religion, but the teachings and where they take you.

religion is a set of man made rules to appear holy. A relationship with our God is what we are called to, not religion.
Religion < human
Relationship w/ God > human

Humanity...
“I have come to the conclusion that whether or not a person is a religious believer does not matter. Far more important is that they be a good human being”
