I mean this both as it applies to Gods righteous indignation and our own sense of righteousness that initiates anger or displeasure when it is violated. Is anger a choice then or a spontaneous reaction to be used as a tool of manipulation to get others in line with our own wills?

"Time" only exists within the Universe. It's not even real( we just invented it, as Einstein proved ). Hence isn't thinking of "a point of creation" just meaningless? Not to mention thinking "Who created the universe?"

Our ancestors may not have understood that time isn't real, and hence concluded that 'god' created the Universe. But people today should know better.

I'm not prejudice about people of color, I have an adopted daughter from Africa, and a bunch of colored friends. But I've always wondered at college even because there was an african american club, hispanic club but when someone asked for a white club, they were called racist.

Does anyone know just how important religion was before the nation state was formed? I know it performed many things that the welfare state does now, but to what extent was it central to everyones lifes..its hard to understand when i only know how it is today in my culture and im studying fundamentalism at the moment and feel it would really help in my understanding of that to know why religion is so important in some countries.
