Yahoo is incompetent. Their basic policy is: Someone complains, delete it. Reason? Chatting & Personal Communications. The site has been bombarded by questions like yours "why did i get this bs violation?" or they e-mail them back. Nothing works and never will. Yahoo is full of morons like the ones that report legitimate questions.

That is about the most idiotic reason I've ever heard anyone use.
I think there are no people at Yahoo!, maybe its really a bloody a*s monkey or computer doing random deletions.

Apparently not. And what's even more annoying is that they hardly ever delete the questions that actually DESERVE to be deleted. People always come through sections advertising links -- some of them do it more than ten times a day in one section. I report them whenever I get the chance, but apparently it never does any good, because the same ones keep coming back. And instead, they report the questions that are totally legitimate. It's ridiculous.

It was deleted probably because someone complained that did not like the question. That's the way they work. I have had many that were deleted for the same BS reasons and they were really honest and good questions, but it pissed one person off so it wasn't politically correct.

Friend, don't get upset because of Yahoo, they can give you a violation just for saying hello, I know how you feel & where you are coming from, But always remember, there is life after yahoo, I have also recieved violation notices,

Yea, I got violated, either last night or this morning and I think the reason for the violation was it wasn't an answer... Hello!! You're right they are ridiculous.

I must defend Yahoo. The task of regulating the content of this site must be daunting. I think that they rely on users. If some retard is offended and complains then the computer simply issues a violation. It is similar to those cameras that give you a ticket for going thru a red light even if there are mitigating circumstances.

I find a LOT of FREE SPEECH VIOLATIONS taking place here, and for the good of this site and the intellectual welfare, openess, and honesty of the participants, it is LONG PAST TIME for people to STOP MAKING VIOLATION COMPLAINTS SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY DISAGREE WITH SOMEBODY!

IMO that is a legitimate questions, if people in some categories chastise Bush to death and still published why can your question be rejected, yes it is caring for them.
