Do they report back to the Canadian government regarding our happenings...or have they all defected for political reasons?

yes they are, but the government is still having trouble listening to the audio playback,,,,,all the recordings are drowned out with some sort of honking noise.

And who are they going to spy on in the middle of a lake somewhere or flying way up in the sky getting shot at by duck hunters. Its not like the geese are going anywhere of any importance. They sure arent going to perch on a telephone pole by the white house or military base where they might pick up a few bits of info in fact they arent going to go anywhere where there are people at to listen in on. So if they did hook up the geese I would say they just spent alot of cash to listen to quack quack quack. and video of geeses butts in flight since not all of them can be the leader.
