I grew up in an atheist household and was taught God didn't exist. I always thought that was really strange, because how did we get here if no one created us? But the theory of Evolution said that the universe just came into existence and we evolved, which conflicts with the Bible.

I struggled with this for a long time and did a lot of research on the subject. I didnt find any proof or proper arguments in favour of God's existence until I found this book 'In Six Days: Why Fifty Scientists Choose to Believe in Creation' by John Ashton. It contains fifty scientific arguments in favour of creation and God, from the point of view of many different sciences like physics, biology, geology. By the time I had read all of them I realised that the theory of Evolution was just a theory and that there were loads of theories in favour of God.

We don't have all the facts so we can never prove that there is a God and we can never prove there isn't a God. But there is enough evidence to show that God is not only possible, but likely, which is what I always suspected to be true. It is only natural to then try to find out more about Him and follow his guidance.

I believe in God...look all around us. Look at the creation. Look at the good in the world. Look at how things are shaping up, as we approach end times, because of all the evil going on in the world. God does answer prayers, and sometimes in ways that we didn't expect.
Look at the good things that some people do for others. There's love, where does that come from, if not from God?
It's really a matter of chosing whether to believe in God or not...I chose to believe...I would rather believe and take my chances on being wrong.,...than to NOT believe and have to deal with my lack of Faith in God, someday!

You will get many answers here. If men fail daily, then why not believe in God? Faith in something unseen, but if you were ever convicted by the Holy Spirit then you recall that time and know it is real. You can still have numerous hardships and troubles a believer or not, but God's word provides comfort in good or bad times. The man that claims there is no God,only tries to prove his intelligence and self worth, but it falls on ears as his and not to those that have faith. Opinions vary, to each his own, free will and choices and changes, it's about life and if you choose to walk the miles alone and is there life beyond this life.

Yes most definitely! I died at age 16 was dead for 45 min. Coma for 8 days I met him. I am a Christian, and was at the time. Even the doctors can hardly believe, That I am among the living. On the 8th day of my coma I was unplugged, as I was clinically brain dead. Well to make a long story short I woke up. If you want to know what I was like rent or buy the movie Regarding Henry. I lost everything. Threw lots and lots of prayer and hard work, I'm back up around 80% I still have memory and pain issues.

Yes i believe in God . I just got through talking to him. History books tell me that George Washington was the first President of the U. S. and my Bible tells me there is a God.I can see him in the prayers he answers for me. I can see Him in the birth of a newborn . God Bless you. Now let's get ready for Church and Sunday School where my 1st and 2nd grade Sunday School class will be anxiously waiting to hear a story about Jesus.
