Yes, it is a prophesy being fulfilled as we speak and our country, the United States of America has much to be concerned about in the nuclear threat from the middle east
Nostradamus predicted in a TV documentary back in the 1981, titled, "The Man who say tomorrow", and documented by Orson Welles that our great country shall come under nuclear attack from a leader in the middle east and he shall be known by the blue turban he wears, and will go by the name of the anti-christ.
The prediction portends that there will be several nuclear missiles launched and the first few will be counterattacked and destroyed by our missile defense system, but the last launch will not be stopped and the new city (New York City) shall be destroyed in the new world (United States of America), and the resulting WW III shall commence, and shall be known as the war that will end all wars, . . . . . . . ."THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON".

The Medo/Persian empire joined together do destroy Babylon in the book of Daniel (chapter 5). That took place in 539 BC. During Belshazzar's feast, the handwiting on the wall occurred. That night the Medo-Persian empire took over. After that, Cyrus's decree (Ezra 1:2-4) allowed Israel to be released from the Babylonian captivity and they returned to their land after 70 years as predicted by Jeremiah. Those prophecies have already been fulfilled.
In 1879, an explorer by the name of Hormuzd Rassam discovered the famous “Cyrus Cylinder” (now in the British Museum) at the site of ancient Babylon. The small (9 inch long), barrel-shaped, clay chronicle describes the benevolent policy of Cyrus in restoring captives to their homelands, along with their religious treasures. In part, the inscription has the ruler saying:
“I returned to these sacred cities on the other side of the Tigris, the sanctuaries of which have been ruins for a long time, the images which [used] to live therein and established for them permanent sanctuaries. I [also] gathered all their [former] inhabitants and returned [to them] their habitations” (Pritchard, 208).
This text demonstrates that the disposition of Cyrus towards the Hebrews was a reflection of his generally benevolent attitude regarding those he subjugated.

Our involvement of their age previous strife is at present a "Police action" that's an unwinable subject. If we pull out, and Iran takes over the country of Iraq, then Iraq will likely grow to be only yet another non secular state decrease than the administration of the Mullas in Iran. i don't think of there will be any "turning out to be a member of up" as you place it. i think of Iran will take over Iraq and dominate it. That domination will effectively weigh down all asperations held by ability of Iraqi electorate for a Democratic and loose united states of america with civil liberties and human rights equivalent to those specially different international locations. From the attitude of the fulfillment of a loose and robust Iraq, which will in no way take place till financial corruption interior Iraq is eradicated. do not seek for that for the time of this century. The Re-Bathing of the country's infrastructure will just about destroy it.
