I find it confusing. Everyone no matter their denomination, all will say they are christian worshipping God and Jesus. But if you ask certain denominations they will tell you the other is worshipping a false God.

I can't understand if you are all christians worshipping the same God. Why different churches, why say the other is worshipping a false God. I scratch my head about that.

Im sorry I mean no disrespect. I just can't get my head around it.

i am 28 and still waiting until i am married, and i am constantly getting ripped on for it by the people i know. i know i haven't found mrs. right yet, and choose to save myself until i do, why is that so wrong in todays world?

Is anyone else upset at the world, with the serious sick individualism and consumption that is going on? I know other people feel the same way I do. Where are you. Band together. Um, the world depends on it. COME ON, we still haven't even come to accept all people as ourselves and work in benefit of the planet instead of our own selfish momentary indulgences?

sometimes I pass people on the street and they look so sad especially the homeless I got to talking this evening with a lady who always ask for money around town she calls me her angel as for some reason 2-3 times a month I seem to run in to her . I stop and talk with her when I can and give her a couple dollars this has been going on about a year and this time I talked with her about trying to turn her life around and get off the streets living from place to place she has been through alot and can't find her light at the end of the tunnel. We never know what anyone is going through or has been through and with the holidays coming it is especially hard for many. reach out to someone if you can even to just go out of your way to say hi volunteer to feed the homeless or buy a toy for a child in need it will make you feel better as well as the person be aware of con artist though they are also out during the holidays God Bless hopefully someone doesn't violate me for this

Ok. I'm fourteen years old, African-American (I guess), and live in Chicago Illinois, in an area with some gang violence, drug dealing, etc. Sometimes I just can't stand living this low life, living around rude people (not saying it's their fault tohugh). People always tell me that I'm smart, loveable, etc, whatever. I just want to get out of this shell called life (keeping GOD and JESUS of course, freinds, etc). So are there any programs, activities, etc, that would give me an upper class exposure? I would really like to see how these people live, and even make some new friends. So if you can help I'm really grateful. Thanks.

Catholic, Lutheran, Baptist, Methodist, Penecostal, ect. I don't get it.

Why do some denominations have fathers, reverands, priests, pastor, ect.

I was raised in foster homes, and every other week I was at a different church. So I am very confused. My wife wants to start going to churh, but I am unsure of which one to go to.

I don't like feeling uncomfortable with someone screaming "Jesus! Jesus!" down my throat, but I don't want to be bored to death either.

The main thing I don't like is that "if you don't beleive everything our church says, you're going to hell" type of attitude. How do we know what is wrong or right?

The Bible was written by man, and man is not perfect. And you can interpret the Bible many different ways, And I'm sure that has been somewhat changed over the years.

My theory is that no one has it right, but I think if we get the basic message and believe that is all that matters. Please, your thoughts, and I don't want any self rightous answers.

Not just my parents but also my grandma thinks I'm just a smartass and that they've failed in raising me because I'm not a sheep who follows everything they hear in mass, or goes to mass for that matter. I have my own thoughts about religion and I'm not afraid to express them when the need arises. I'm neither a Christian like they are, and would like me to be, nor an atheist. I'm an agnostic and don't see anything wrong with that. I don't know if God exists, no one does, if they say they do, they can't prove it. You also can't prove God doesn't exist so just admit that you don't know. It's not like I blindly came to this conclusion. I read a lot, even the bible and the koran and other "religious" texts and have come to this belief on my own. Why can't they just accept it and instead of being angry be glad that I can make my own intelligent decisions?

They just walked away. Not evening staying to seee you open it. they left before you could even look up from tehy gave. You In side was the 20 dollars you needed to finsih paying a bill off.
