I just read that Scandavian people are all Germanic like the English, so really they are all one group and there is nohing really to be proud about being different ot having their identy as they were the same people, like they ony migrated to North from German and Demark like when they went to UK, so basically they are the same people right? aye lol

And if so how old are you. Is it unacceptable for an adult, in their twenties to have a soft stuffed dog (not a real one!) that is sometimes cuddled in bed.

Total Depravity (Man cannot of himself respond to the gospel/he is dead in sin)

Unconditional Election - God has chosen some unto salvation not based on anything we have done including knowledge of foreknown events

Limited Atonement - (Also known as Particular Redemption) That Christ died only for the one's he has chosen. Not for every person that ever lived or will live

Irresistible Grace- God's saving work in someone cannot be resisted but that such grace will result in salvation

Perseverance of the Sains- (also known as Eternal Security) Those who are born again can never lose their salvation

god made man and put him in a magical garden with an apple tree of sin growing in it. Adam needed a friend so god preformed surgery on him and took out his rib and turned it into a woman. They ate the apple so god had to send his son to earth to get tortured and murdered. They god sat down wispered in some guys ears and told them exactly what to write in a book (hundreds of pages worth) then god decided if you dont belive what christians have to say he will be forced to let your flesh burn off in a pit of fire until the end of time. How is a rational person supposed that take that in and believe it.

In the Bible...KJV, it says that when Isreal become a nation that generation should not pass before the coming of the Son Of man... Well Isreal became a nation in the 1950's as best as I can understand... may not be the accurate year.... But that is as close as i can remember.... And that generation is my parents generation which is ages 50-60 years of age..... I look at how FAST things have progressed through the last 75 years..... Out of the 2006 A.D. the earth has been in existance...... it has not been so long ago that there was No television, No Electricity, No, telephones....Look at how fast we have progressed through technology.... Does this not let you see, that jesus is going to step out on the clouds and call his Children home.... And it isn't that we are smarter then others before us in time.... It is Prophecy being fullfilled FAST...... What do you think?

In Braveheart the film, were William Wallace and his men as rest of Scotland the Celts or Celtic people?
I mean since they marked themselves with Blue paints or whatver they were does that mean they were the native Scottish Celts, or were they more of Germanis as English people were, i assumed they were Celts considering the Passion they the Scottish had and how much they were against the English being in their land, i dont belive they were the same people as English, what ya all think

To preface: just came out. I don't want anything major to change in my life and i'm finding myself changing to the suit. I feel like now that i'm out i'm bombarded with people pressuring me (not conciously) of how to be and how to act. I just want to act normal and be a normal person, but I have to walk around with people coming up to me apologizing for the anti-gay remarks they said in the past and having ever rising expectations. I know the answers i'm going to get is be yourself and yadda yadda, which I am despite everything, but I want to know if others in the same situation have felt the same way. (What was it like entering the gay world for you?) As a minor note, I have to say that my first experience in a gay bar was terrifying, lol! I felt completely naked. I understand the way women feel because walking in it's like you are a peice of meat. Dealing with guys hitting on you and the 'no thanks', and not being able to just relax and have a good time. Sorry for the rant! :)

so basically abraham kidnapps and ties up his son and was ready to kill him because god said so in order to prove that he is faithful. why is this in the bible, im guessing its not the moral qualities either. and if someone heard voices to do something similar would you go out and do it to prove your faithfulness?

I'm sure you've seen the sites! People put lighted candles, flowers, little notes and poems, plus, even a picture of the person at the site where the person was killed. Why do they do this, why not put all that on their grave in the cemetry where the thought has more meaning????

Did it never rain before the flood or did the laws of physics change? I know what the scripture in Genesis says, so please don't just quote them and call that proof or explanation. I am simply wondering how this could have occurred the way it is described. The page listed below describes some of the problems in accepting this story just as it is presented. If you are a believer who accepts every word of the Bible literally, please be kind enough to explain why such apparently inexplicable contradictions to reason and logic such as this do not cause you to doubt the sensibility of your beliefs. Thank you!
