Remember the events that took place when Jesus was crucified. The ground broke open and all the dead walked the earth for three days. (What a sight that must have been). Then Jesus ascended into heaven. That is why he is so remembered till this day.

“And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his [Jesus’] resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, ‘Truly this was the Son of God.’”

i had goosebumps, full on.
all the small thin hairs on my body was sticking up.

lets think friend and share and if you need help finding the right way to walk ask please coz it is your eternal life . your friends will not help you if you left behind your money will not be a help if you lost your hope in Christ ! think about your life , yourself , think how much you are important so that God was thinking about your eternal life and made everything for you to be saved ! think about it and don't laugh , because really it is very serious q

I saw that crims getting restrained by those cops. The crime fighting expert Rod Wheeler said he found that it was within the reasonable force bounds. I'm sure glad I don't live in America. Equal rights, land of the free, etc.
What do you think of his statement ?

what reasons made christianity dominant among other cultures and religions...why it had expanded over the world...i'm not asking about sentiments in religion here...i'm asking exactly WHY christianity is dominant. Like, say, the Philippines hundreds of years ago was pagan but when the adherent Spaniards came to introduce Christianity, the people of the islands embraced it. And other similar situations where Christianity had expanded. Why it had overcome the former beliefs and former culture of the people who now embrace Christianity....

Okay, so now they are going to put Mr. Haggard through a spiritual "restoration" process that is supposed to take three to five years. In this process they are trying to "pray" out his gay. This is a direct quote taken from Yahoo news page from the "restoration" authority about what this therapy involves. Pay close attention:

The process includes counseling, in groups and alone, and prayer. Each restoration is unique, with a program tailored for the needs of the participant.

"From the Christian perspective, we think in terms of prayer, we think in terms of what we call godly counsel, where godly men who are clean themselves insert themselves in the life of the one who is struggling," London said.

The symbolic laying on of hands may also be a part of the recovery, London said.

Okay, back to my question, Is it just me or does this sound more like a prison rape than a "restoration"? The "clean" men "inserting" themselves in the life of the "struggling", laying on of hands?

In light of the scandal of Rev. Ted Haggard (the former president of National Association of Evangelicals and the former pastor of New Life Church in Colorado Springs), what do the Christians and Muslims think of a spiritual leader (such as the pastor for Christians and the imam for the Muslims)? Are they, the spiritual leaders, above accountability?

Could the knowledgable Muslims explain the above in relation to the principle of "Maksum" [that is no one is immune (maksum) except the prophets, and therefore the imam will also be scrutinized by the law of the religion].

Thanks.

I have a feeling that someone close to me may have done some dark magick on me. I have been having problems with this person for about a month now. Last week they escalated and they left the house. After they left, I found a print out of an Ebay auction for a voodoo doll. This week I have been having unexplained aches and stabbing pains in random spots throughout my body. This came on so rapidly that I don't believe there is a medical reason. I would really like to know what to do here. I know this sounds a little nutso, but I would really appreciate legitimate responses.
Thanks.

So I told him that I had church and it felt he was pressuring me.. Afterwards, I felt like so stressed out,... and I am not very good at sticking up for myself.. but it all worked out in the end.. but I just want to have a inner strength.. a strength where you don't tear up when certain people come ask for you in their office to "talk".. you know?.. THose pressuring times... anyone got any suggestions?

I was reading my bible a minute ago and got to thinking about it so I double checked and it is indeed true! I have not broken any of the ten commandments or sinned ever! Not once! Have any of my Christian brothers and sisters lived a sin free life like me?
