Certainly not, Muslims had been at war with others and conquered lands at certain periods, and there were times when Muslims lived in peace with non Muslims. However, whenever Muslims were ruled by non Muslims they became aggressive. they could not tolerate situations that Muslims are the subjects of non Muslims, since Islam claims it's the dominant faith, and Muslims should be seen as dominant

Actually HUMANS have been at war with each other since...always. Strong arguments exist that all war can be blamed on one religion or another (including Christianity). What's your point? Just feeling particularly self-righteous tonight and wanted to stir up some more anti-Islam attitude? Your religion is just as bogus as theirs. However, I must concede Christianity a few more fashion points (at least for the ladies...).

Our struggle is to spread the word that God is one, and that you should not worship any other than him. Those who have done wrong, God will judge them accordingly.

007:146] I shall turn away from My Ayât (Verses of the Qur'ân) those who behave arrogantly on the earth, without a right, and (even) if they see all the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), they will not believe in them. And if they see the way of righteousness (monotheism, piety, and good deeds), they will not adopt it as the Way, but if they see the way of error (polytheism, crimes and evil deeds), they will adopt that way, that is because they have rejected Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and were heedless (to learn a lesson) from them.

[007:147] Those who deny Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) and the Meeting in the Hereafter (Day of Resurrection,), vain are their deeds. Are they requited with anything except what they used to do?
