because we are all fixed points in a hierarchical machine, with little opportunity for mobility to the top. We work our whole life, as inflation slowly takes away our real worth. Many of us have comfortable lives, so we cant complain much. But we'll never be ultra rich, so here we go working everyday, if we can make someone money, we have a job, if we lose someone money, we will be fired. soon, after all possible jobs that can be moved overseas are moved overseas, and the remaining jobs have been maximized downward to the minimum wage, we will see as a society, what real problems look like.

Ever heard of Pavlov's dogs? We too are conditioned like that. Our only way out is to refuse to buy the stuff that's pushed at us! (and to be aware that we're having our strings pulled!) I never buy the stuff I see advertised because I know that I'm paying for my own brainwashing (the ads.) in the price of the product, so I buy someone elses product if I really need the thing!!

I always ask myself is it worth wasting your life away at some boring job just to make some money to buy materialistic crap that you don't really need. Everyone does it though because that's how society had been for years. Oh well...i guess that's why i need to go to school to get a job i really like, then it might be worth it.
