Learn how to manipulate your Vissudha's energy through meditation. If you do this then you can put yourself to sleep, and once you progress further you may be able to master lucid dreaming...
An exercise: Lie down on your bed and stretch to relax yourself. Find a comfortable position and focus on your feet first. Wiggle your toes and feel how they fall into a deeply relaxed state afterwards. Let this feeling spread up your body. Once you are completely relaxed imagine a blue lotus of light opening in the hollow of your throat, and imagine the blue light gathering in the base of your skull. Then let yourself drift off...

for help with sleep melatonin is natural and safe and inexpensive... you can get it at almost any health food store..
headache is a touch one.. some people's migrains are really painful.. and I have not had that problem... not sure what to do about it. Do you know the cause or are you prone to migraine headaches? That might be a good one to consult a Dr about
Note many people said cofee and aspirin... Many medicines for headaches use things like caffeine and asperin and a little but of tylenal I think are the main ingreadients for exceedrin migrain
Lying in bed thanking God for everythign you can think of seems to sometimes cause me to nod off... zzzzzzzzzzzz
I'm also a big fan of excersize and praying for others while you do it...

You've had a headache for three days, or a headache because of only five hours sleep in three days?
If it's the former, see a doctor
If it's the latter, take some asprin, very powerful asprin, some dark chocolate and caffine. Sit in a dark room and try to rest. Get off the computer, it'll hurt your eyes nad aggrivate your headache.

Dim the lights, put on some soothing music (I like Enya for this kind of mood enhancing) and light some candles. I think insense is a little too strong if you have a headache.

Sometimes an ice pack on the face helps the headache. Dim lights, quiet surroundings. Good luck, I know what it's like.

Try to do something not too physically tiring but good enough to keep ur mind off the thing that caused u to lose sleep.
a good book...a puzzle...a game...
anything u do that is intended to help u out and shut ur constant mental talk in the head will be spritual ..
cause u do it for ur betterment...and ur betterment...ease of mind..will improve your overall performance as human that worships God.

I'd be in a darkened room, laying down and my eyes closed listening to some soft music til I drift off to sleep.
The headache is your body's way of telling you it needs sleep!
