Why would Christians want Jerusalem. It doesn't belong to us. Remember our kingdom is not on this earth.

When Jesus comes back, it will be on the Mount of Olives, also where he ascended into heaven. Yes, that is in Jerusalem, but not in the Old City. Christians should be more concerned about what will happen at Megiddo, mentioned in Revelation. And what happened at the cross and in the tomb. Jerusalem belongs to the Jews, although having just been there, and being a Christian, I suggest that everyone go tour the holy land, because it will change your reading of the Bible. And it is safe over there, I felt safer in Israel than I did at JFK airport. It's not what you see on CNN. Do a little research.

No, I dont think they ever would.
Other than some sacred sites, whats there in it for them?
Anyway, the jews have been installed there to keep fighting the white man's war with the arabs/ palestinians- as well as to keep the christian sites in good stead forthe pilgrims/ tourists.
Ever wonder what will happen if the christians actually do take over Israel/jerusalem?
The Jews Europe et al managed to throw back (after millenia of torture and attempts) in the dust bowl called palestine/ Israel will perforce pour into Europe- Jews which history tells us were regularly and uniformly hated throughout Europe and treated at best as third rate citizens- ( in countries where they were treated as human beings), else like detested animal creatures.
Also, the Jews, having at last found their own homeland after thousands of years- and having converted that dust bowl into a heaven of sorts - having suffered ignominy, insult and abuse at the hands of the hosts for millenia- will never ever let anyone over-run their much cherished homeland- guess not to the last man/ last bullet. They are a real proud and brave lot.
Under the circumstances, no sane christian/ european leader/ nation would ever attempt to overtake Israel/jerusalem- at least not in the fore-see-able future
PS: I AM NEITHER A ZIONIST NOR ANTI CHRISTIAN/european. Me- simple, plain thinking human - a proud INDIAN HINDU

Christians will never take Jerusalem. Read your OT. It will belong to the Children of Israel for all eternity.

oh, not this again. honestly, you'd think the christians have oppressed the jews enough over the past two thousand years, now they want to steal our holy city too. don't you think its time that the christians matured a little bit and left other people alone? its the year 2006, you know. not the dark ages.

Christians will never retake Jerusalem. When Christ returns he will appear to his people and they will know him.
