Do you seek the type of people who can find the weakest element, and tear another
down, and stay in power?
Or the type of people who look for the strongest element, and build another person up, giving "them" more power?

My brother met a black Christian (cant remember where he is from). They were talking about Christianity and he said Jesus is not the son of god. I was suprised by this statement. He said most Christians do not practise their religion. They dont know what they are talking about. Do you know the name of this group and where i can get more info abt them? Please no answers like he aint a Christian coz he rejected christ as son of god and he is going to hell or copy and pastes where it says he is son of god. If i want to know who is or isnt a Christian, i would ask. If you can help, thanks. Still, watch all the negative answers.

*_Noah in 2006_*

In the year 2006, the Lord came unto Noah, who was now living in the United States, and said, "Once again, the earth has become wicked and over-populated, and I see the end of all flesh before me. Build another Ark and save 2 of every living thing along with a few good humans. "He gave Noah the blueprints, saying, "You have 6 months to build the Ark before I will start the unending rain for 40 days and 40 nights."

Six months later, the Lord looked down and saw Noah weeping in his yard -but no Ark. "Noah!" He roared, "I'm about to start the rain! Where is the Ark ?"

"Forgive me, Lord," begged Noah, "but things have changed. -I needed a building permit. I've been arguing with the inspector about
the need for a sprinkler system.

-My neighbors claim that I've violated the neighborhood zoning laws by
building the Ark in my yard and exceeding the height limitations. We had
to go to the Development Appeal Board for a decision.

-Then the Department of Transportation demanded a bond be posted for the
future costs of moving power lines and other overhead obstructions, to
clear the passage for the Ark 's move to the sea. I told them that the sea would
be coming to us, but they would hear nothing of it.

-Getting the wood was another problem. There's a ban on cutting local
trees in order to save the spotted owl. I tried to convince the
environmentalists that I needed the wood to save the owls - but no go!

-When I started gathering the animals, an animal rights group sued me.
They insisted that I was confining wild animals against their will. They
argued the accommodation was too restrictive, and it was cruel and inhumane to put so many animals in a confined space.

-Then the EPA ruled that I couldn't build the Ark until they'd conducted
an environmental impact study on your proposed flood.

-I'm still trying to resolve a complaint with the Human Rights Commission
On how many minorities I'm supposed to hire for my building crew.
Immigration and Naturalization is checking the green-card status of most of the
people who want to work.

-The trades unions say I can't use my sons. They insist I have to hire
only Union workers with Ark-building experience.

-To make matters worse, the IRS seized all my assets, claiming I'm trying
to leave the country illegally with endangered species.

-So, forgive me, Lord, but it would take at least 10 years for me to
finish this Ark. "

Suddenly the skies cleared, the sun began to shine, and a rainbow
stretched across the sky.

Noah looked up in wonder and asked, "You mean you're not going to
destroy the world?"

"No," said the Lord. "The government beat me to it."

From the LATimes http://www.knoxnews.com/kns/national/article/0,1406,KNS_350_5100139,00.html
"Pete Pathfinder Davis has been fighting for nearly a decade to have the emblem of his faith engraved on the headstones of veterans buried in federal cemeteries. But the application he filed in 1997 with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for use of the pentacle - a five-pointed star surrounded by a circle - is still pending. Davis and other Wiccans, who sometimes describe themselves as pagans or witches, say it is time for the VA to recognize their religion, which worships nature and employs the practice of 'magick.'"

What's your opinion about this, and if you object to it -- why?

You can take the religious, atheistic, reincarnation, or any other approach. I am interested in what you think happens after you die. Do you believe that you have a soul that lives on after the body dies, or do you believe everything ends when your body does? Do you believe in ghosts?

Christians, lead me to believe that most of your beliefs are fear based

Why? Because they say it all the time

They say, "If i'm wrong, I have nothing to lose but if you're wrong, you burn in hell"

If you believed in your own intellect, you wouldn't be intimidated by the hell threat.

You're disregarging your own logic because of what MIGHT happen. You've surrendered yourself to a possible myth

It was in ROTC, one of the upperclassmen reprimanded me for not holding my bearing, which is fine, but I ended up quitting pledging b/c I have too much going on. Well, I'm still in ROTC, and everytime when I see him, I've noted that he stares at me, could he like me? just by the way he glances over where am at I can tell that he is thinking something about me but not sure, and he seems like one of those guys who doesn't take crap form no body, and seems driven. Anywho, what do you guys think?

John 3 "Except a person repent and be born again, they can not see the kingdom of heaven."

on this issue of persecution--and on a persons 360 this is an ongoing thing-people like Danielle from doofus answers and others -as I read and was inspired to do the opposite-say its not smart to do this-she is a spiritist who claims to be Jewish and fights to stop believers in Jesus from sharing the gospel-and one person was kicked out for this too-yet she calls those that stand for morality and Jesus as being not good? because of this many questions are being rejected and deleated too.
