Like I keep hearing, there are millions of couples out there that want a child of their own but are incapable of conceiving. Since you are against "killing a baby" would you be okay with Mr & Mr Johnson adopting said baby instead?

I really need advice on this, I am confused and still hurt. But also happy to move on. My father was an elder there for at least ten years, then he stepped down, along with two other elders. It was his own choice, and my families to go somewhere else. But God made my decision for me. I am hurt from what went on in my "former" church, things that people did and I don't know what I should do. I feel like I am just running away, but I can't stay because I can't. I feel bad for leaving them, and all the people are hurt and crying and probably feel abanonded. I know. I think we all need to deal with things on our own. I mean I will still visit, I just need to find a new church right now. Its not stable and I need stable. Anyone just tell me what you think. Thanks.

What is the most important thing about judaism, how do you worship god? I would like proof. Also the orthodox jews, who are they? Did Moses show you how to worship god? how to live etc? Do you practise the 10 commandments?

I have been a very convinced evangelical Christian for 35 years and now have strong issues of conscience over the subjects of the exclusitivity of Christ (i.e. the Only Way to Heaven, etc.) and Hell (the eternal torment aspect of it). As I look at Buddhism, I see strong similarities to Christianity in the cultivation of the exact same virtues of love, joy and peace. Just very different concepts on the person and plan of God. Has anyone else out there made the same journey that I seem to be embarking on?

Believe it or not some are. They have the right to ban smokes in the work place but I don't think they should be able to police your home life.

I met a girl when I was 16 and since then I have been crazy in love with her should I tell her?
We lost contact after high school and now 10 years later we are talking again. She however is in a relationship and I just got out of a 2 year relationship. Its great talking to her again I just don't know if I should share with her how I feel in fear it may ruin a great friendship.

First of, don't get me wrong, I dislike abortion, but I will not stand between a woman and her rights.

A lot of people say that the Unborn Child has rights too, but in our law system I am yet to find out what rights those are. A lot of people say life begins at conception, yet I have yet to see proof of this.

Now if an Unborn has rights, it's a human, and his individual life was created at conception. Then would Pro-Lifers be in support of making having these Unborn put down as dependants by their parents? If not, then why? After all, Life begins at conception, it is an individual human, and it has rights.
