if we are an absolutely wonderful person but an atheist ( or similar ), we may be reborn a King/Queen ( or similar ) decked with necessities of life and perfectly equiped 5 senses to live a carefree life, we MIGHT have missed in this life.

but

If we are a Supremely horrible person who is fanatically charged in our religion, God or no God, we will be reborn as a dung beetle 1000 times over cursed by our own nastiness to roll in the Poop of other creatures.

* i know i am gonna get flamed... but maybe a different opinion to an already asked question?* :)

First thing, there's no Hell. What we think as Hell comes from The Divine Comedy written by Dante Alighieri. Dante's Inferno. Secondly, Heaven is right here on earth. Americans are among the richest 1% on the planet. Remember your last vacation and how great it was, that perfect meal and fantastic book. That's heaven because you can get whatever you want. Now, imagine living in Darfur or Iraq right now. You would wish that you were anywhere but there. So, if you are a good person, do good things for others and you won't worry about the afterlife. Follow the golden rule.

Most religious people (any religion) will tell you that if you don't except their God, you're going to hell (or some other unpleasant consequence). Of course, if you don't believe in God, than you probably don't believe in heaven or hell. I think it's so funny that religious people are convinced that THEIR religion is correct and everyone else is crazy or mislead...I guess brainwashing the young tends to work.

Who cares? If I go to hell at least I'm in good company. Who wants to be stuck in Heaven with a bunch of preachy religious folks and the boss watching you all the time?
If you're bad in Heaven do you get to go to hell?

There is at least one brand of Christianity that insists you can only avoid going to hell by "accepting Jesus." From an objective point of view, it seems their god requires adoration, singing, praise, and all those kind of things a needy god has to have. And, according to these adherents of what they call a "loving god," if you don't massage this super-ego, you will burn in hell forever! (With love like this ..)

In humans this is the type of vanity one finds in tin-horn tyrants.

Im not worried about that at all, since there is no heaven or hell. I'm a good person because i want to be a good person, not just so I can get into "heaven".

Some of you believe in a heaven & hell. You'll be in for a rude awakening when your life is over. Your spirit will be sitting there in limbo waiting for something that isn't going to happen. Disturbing? Yeah, it is.

The concepts of Heaven and Hell were invented by man. Whatever really happens when we die is anybodies guess. The "religious leaders" don't know any more about than you do even though they want you to think they do.

In Judaism, every good person eventually gets to heaven, but the founders of Christianity didn't want their "God" to be like that. They built a quirky "God" who makes sheer *belief* in something the only ticket in.

God does not turn away anyone. You must be born again to enter the kingdom of heaven.

John 3:7
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

No one is a "good person". Jesus said our best is as filthy rags.

Mark 10:17-31
As he was setting out on a journey, a man ran up and knelt before him, and asked him, "Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?"Jesus said to him, "Why do you call me good? No one is good but God alone.

Romans 5:12
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Praise the Lord!!
