i like it better than gold and it has nothing to do with $$. i think gold is to shinny and to tacky and too flamboyant. silver is much calmer and more neutral. it goes better with things, its just a color preference i guess on my part. i bet if silver was the one costing more and gold was cheaper you'd see more people wearing gold though...I'd still wear silver.

I don't hate gold by any means, I just feel that with my skin tone silver colors look much better. I have a yellowish hue anyways and feel that the gold just brings that out. I only wear a few choice pieces in silver but i perfer Platinum. Same color... more expensive and will last longer and is much heavier. Its all about personal prefrence. My mom only wears gold and I chose silver.

Silver is the most highly reflective of the "precious metals." The reflected light from silver is very complimentary to the wearer.

because it looks clean, and not cheap like some gold can. I think it just looks really nice is all.
