God said He wouldn't flood the whole Earth again. The Flood was a global event, it covered the whole Earth, and no, there hasn't been a flood that's covered the whole earth since, so He kept His promise. You're right, if the flood were local like biblical compromises say, He would have broken His promise many times.

That's right. He will never destroy the earth by a world wide flood. Next time it will be with fire.
2 Thess 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Judging by the answers some people give, it appears that no, it does not count. o_0

Let's think for a moment here: these people are saying that God will not destroy the world again by flooding because that's what the Bible says. Why would God, the Supreme Being, be bound by a book? Why could (s)he not change hir mind?

God will not destroy the earth again with a flood. These disasters that have happened is not flooding the earth even in parts. Thats what happens when you live so close to the ocean.

Global warming is due to disturbances within the Earth. Which were craeted by the polar caps, the weight creating a wobble in Earths rotation. These disturbances
are slowly melting the polar caps, which will result in the Earth shifting back to
it's natural spin. It will be by "fire", volcanic eruptions, that the Earth undergoes
its next cataclysm!

God flooding the entire world over the mountain tops

and

Man's pollution causing global warming resulting in the melting of ice caps and regional flooding.

Right. As my scientist friends are fond of pointing out, there is no longer enough water on earth to flood it like that again.

He said He would never destroy the Earth again with water. The whole Earth has never been covered with water since that day, so i would be led to believe that your answer would be "yes" it doesn't count.

No, you are wrong. The Bible says that God would never destroy the whole earth again with a flood. He gave us the rainbow as a sign of that promise.
He never said it would not flood again.

He said He wouldn't destroy all life with another flood. Honestly, read the Bible before you post such silly pseudo-questions!
