There is no real evidence of an ancient Martian civilization, but after rewatching a "Cosmos" episode in which Carl Sagan left the possibility open that there may be evidence of agricultural plains on the Mars surface dating back a billion or more years ago, I'm intrigued by the thought that the red planet could have at one time been an Earthlike world, with some form of intelligent life.

I'm asking two questions (please answer both or either):

a/ Sci-fi fantasies and wild speculations aside, how likely do you personally think it is that Mars at one time had flowing water and some type of intelligent life?

b/ According to Sagan, Earthlings may one day "terraform" Mars into a habitable place for human beings, which, he said, could take a thousand years or more. However unlikely it is, would you allow it's possible that the Earth underwent the same type of induced terraforming process millions of years ago?

hes a bisexual who was in a gay relationship for 9 years before we met each other. I used to be a hoover vaccum, I could give a man a b-l-o-w-j-o-b everyday. Its my favorite thing to do. For some reason when it comes time to go down on my fiance I freeze up. I strat thinking, "hes given so many more b-l-o-w-j-o-b-s than I have," and I start questioning my skill at it. Which is silly because I know from personal experience that I am very good at it. What can I do to quit thinking that and give him the b-l-o-w-j-o-b he deserves?

I asked if somebody knows books which is written earlier than the great soul Jesus and the Prophet Mohammed about their coming to earth. If you don't know just don't answer; don't think there are no books or holy books other than what you read. There are lot of books which is written before the great Jesus and Prophet Mohammed or the bible or Hadis which mentioned the world, countries, war with satallite, continents and islands and many more things. We are human beings; if I born in a Muslim home I would called a muslim and If born in Christian home I would be called a Christian. Why don't we think beyond the religions and learn about other's culture, religion and customs?

Intellegent design states that life is too complex to have come about on its own and that it had to have been designed by an intellegent being - hence the name intellegent design.

It makes NO mention of who that intellegent designer is.

Aren't Aliens supposed to be intellegent beings? Can an intellegent designer prove that it was NOT Aliens that designed us?

By failing to name the designer, does intellegent design promote the belief in Aliens?

And no, I do NOT believe in Aliens, just wanted to point out the absurdity of Intellegent design

Notice the word Tales

Quran Ch6
[25] And of them there are some who listen to you; but We have set veils on their hearts, so they understand it not, and deafness in their ears; and even if they see every one of the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) they will not believe therein; to the point that when they come to you to argue with you, the disbelievers say: "These are nothing but tales of the men of old."

Quran ch8
[31] And when Our Verses (of the Qur'ân) are recited to them, they say: "We have heard this (the Qur'ân); if we wish we can say the like of this. This is nothing but the tales of the ancients."

Quran ch23
[83] "Verily, this we have been promised - we and our fathers before (us)! This is only the tales of the ancients!"

But it does sound a little bit fishy. Can you tell me the Bible verse that makes this a sin? If there is none, I may proceed.

Just a question, Do you think the Theory of Intelligent Design should be taught in public high schools in America, and what is your religious preference.

For example, this is Jim Darwin's answer

Agnostic - NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

If you want to go ahead and tell me why you feel the way you do, please don't we have already heard the arguements for and against 1000 times. This question is only intended to see if there is a correlation between religion and the desire to have Intelligent Design taught in the schools.

I'm guessing the sense of humor religious people will say Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes (and that would be a better answer than just plain "yes")
