I feel you. People often take you for being a racist cause you ask something about whatnot, mexicans or blacks. Personally I think it's ok, as long as your question is formulated in a respective manner.

i imagine my question falls in a countless classification. i'm so drained of being called " racist" because i'm white. I don t extremely care what colour, way of existence or what ever anybody is. if your a jerk your a jerk no matter the creed you're and that i m a racist. If I don t close my mouth and enable some one cut back in the front of me, turn me off, cuss me out and smile and ask for forgiveness, I m a racist. In retail it s the worst, purely because some one is white and a non- white clients demands (regardless if the demands are thoroughly UNREASONABLE or no longer ) aren't any further in the present day met, supply into and complied with. you're called a racist. SO, i wager my question is, why it is tolerated and allowed or perhaps taught to be ok?

no I don't think you are being racist at all! It is not as though you said; "does anybody hire those f***ing thieving Mexicans, they're all the same..." is it?
I think here in the US people need to get over it and quit being so annoyingly PC! Also I have noticed (coming from Newcastle and living in the US) that the interpretation of what we can say and the way in which we say it can be misconstrued by people that have lived in a very small box for so long!
Respect to all who show respect whatever Nation you may come from.

The United States of the offended. That is what we have become. we are more concerned that someone use the "proper" treminology in reference to us than whether or not that peson can be trusted. Get over it people. Ther are more important issues, like the lies our government has been feeding us about 9/11 and the reasons we invaded Iraq and are at this minute manuevering to invade any other nation that will not submit themselves to our will.

Are you saying that the term Mexicans in the context that you used it "how can I hire Mexicans?" has been said to be a racist remark? No, I do not think that it is racist. However the correct or proper term is "Hispanic".

If you hire mexicans over any other applicant then you have hiring practices that are deemed to favor one class of people over another.
Racism assumes racial superiority of the favored race.
Bigotted means you just don't like other races, not a matter of superiority you just don't like them.
I am a bigot. I don't assume my race is any better then another, but I don't like mexicans that are not trying to establish residency or citizenship to the US and sending money back to the "home country" without paying taxes or contributing to services they use.
"There are two kinds of mexicans those that have came here legally , are articulate and speak the english language, and those f&ckers in front of Home Depot" -- Carlos Mencia
I think there are lowlifes of any color, creed or ethnicity. Most go about their days busting hump to put food on the table.. Law breakers are people that come to the US in violation of current immigration code and work in our workforce, take from our system and send monies back to their country of origin without so much as a slap on the wrist. If you hire illegals you are violating federal statute and should have your property and business taken from you.

See there are different races in the world. If you discriminate because of someones "race" (e.g. Mexican) then that is racist.

i dont see how it is racist by imploying anyone from a differnt cultrual background. i think when another culture is being excepted into our enviroment it makes them feel equal because they are in fact equal to any human being on this planet. If this makes sense. lol

Actually, the term to "Welsh" on a bet is a bigoted term. So is "Scotch Tape" - it is a reference to the supposed frugality (cheapness) of the Scotch.

Yes, if you single out any particular ethic group, it can be considered racist.
