Yes, it has been their futile attempt for 2000 years. The majority of the world population has always been against Christian beliefs. And, in every age, there have been converts from Christianity into other Faiths like Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism. Whereas the Christianity wins its converts from among the less literates, the persons it ought to feel a loss of are highly literate ones. It may be because the Christians donot win hearts. They overawe and then convert. Thus Billions of Dollars are lost by Missionaries. This is the time to take a second look at the humiliations of non Christians by the Christians elite. As they are continuously failing to convert the world in their ways...and in desperation are destroying the humanity.

First of all Christians cannot convert anyone. Conversion, also known as the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, is an Act of God. You know, Acts of God, those things that are not covered by your insurance policy.

Let me ask you. Does the Roman Catholic Church want everybody to be Catholic? Does Islam want everybody to be Islam? Does Folgers want everybody to drink their coffee?

Let me give you some real ammo, if you will consider it.

The teaching is that whosoever will may come and that God is not willing that any should perish. Then there is the command, go into all the world and preach the gospel.

When you ad teaching that a decision for Christ" is the same as conversion you create a bunch of people who "think they can convert the world." Many, many of these people including church leaders and preachers, are not converted themselves.

There are thousands of "Christians" on the mission fields who have no authority or business to be doing what they are doing.

Christianity is not passing on doctrine or teaching or an invitation to join other like minded people. Christianity is passing on the life of Christ as it has been passed to you. If you do not have that life, you may relay good information, but can only pass on your own spirit.

Even if you believe what I say, you cannot touch the life of Christ if I do not have it in power. God in His mercy often gives hearers a gift of faith that allows them to override the situation and eventually leads them to someone who has the spirit life.

I am not saying that those who believe will not reach heaven as they may well be justified by faith. However without the Holy Spirit, and/or a man with a special calling, the power to live the Christian life, and to impart that life, is limited to nonexistant.

You no doubt have heard of Billy Graham. He has called hundreds of thousands to follow Christ and he was called to preach. Yet he preached doctrine somewhat short on the need for holiness and a whole lot short on baptism in the spirit.

As a result, according to words of his own ministry, he would see 30,000 come forward to make a "decision for Christ" only to come back later and only find 300 or less. I may not have exact figures for a single Crusade, but the ratio gives you some idea. This was blamed on poor followup by church people and preachers.

Committment is a step toward conversion. People who are committed, do not have spirit to guide them in power, and will natually go out and try to get a committment from everybody else. It's called salesmanship and it walks hand in glove, not with the spirit of Christ, but with the spirit of Capitalism.

I think any Christian whose sins are forgiven would desire that others be forgiven; just like you might tell of a restaurant where you got the best dinner you ever had.

For two points I am giving you a look into the spiritual world. Christians should desire that the whole world be converted knowing that this will not happen. They should know that there is only unity in the spirit and never any full unity of belief due to the disorderly nature of human reason.

I personally am a christian, and I go out and share the gospel with people at least three times a week in front of the malls or at the airport, where we have been given permission to go. I also try to witness to everybody that crosses my path. I do it because I love these people and I want to tell them about God and Heaven so that they are forewarned what will happen to them. I don't force it on anybody...I gently ask if they want a booklet and if they do then i try to talk to them about it, and if they don't want to hear what I have to say, I will leave them be. I don't get money for what I am doing, I don't sell anything. I just do it because the Lord is pleased with me when I do it, and because I love my neighbor as myself.

ya know I hate this notion that we christians are trying to force our belief on everyone, like we're some brainwashing hooligans. No, i realize everyone must make their own decisions and you cant force anyone to do anything, but we do try to encourage people to find the right path. If you don't like what we are trying to spread (even though its for the good) then dont listen. Its not like there are laws stating you have to go to church or you'll be jailed. Yes we want to convert people but we are not forcing anything on anyone its just too bad people take it that way. Jesus tried to show people the right path and taught his ways to the people, did he convert many sure, but he did it by teaching not forcing.

New children might want to wish conversion as they got here into the age of responsibility. merely because you're born right into a "Christian relatives" doesn't make you a Christian; it truly is a range each and each human beings makes for ourselves. as long as devil roams the international, there'll continually be fake religions taking drugs. it is devil's the finest selection lie to make us doubt the reality of God's be conscious. He made Eve question it... " Did God truly say...?" and he retains on the prompt. What you describe on your very last paragraph is a somewhat precise description of the Anti-Christ and his activities eventually time. What might want to I do? I pray i'd carry quick to the undeniable actuality that Jesus Christ is the in uncomplicated words one actual God and each and each be conscious he spoke grow to be absolutely the truth and can want to be relied on and that i'm no longer deceived.

Sure, why not? Actually we can only spread the truth and it is the Holy Spirits job to convert so we can't convert anyone but just tell them the truth.

True Christians want to share GODs word--GOD knows that the whole world will not follow him--but Christians have to share with everyone-so if you choose to follow you can.
